AMAZING - Great Plot

Loved this series!!! Wish there was a 3rd! Teddy Hamilton was amazing as always. Loved June as well, first time listening to her!

Ugh!

Irrigation first comes to the forefront. If the 2 MCs just communicated more a lot of the unnecessary angst would have made the book better. Delilah’s ridiculous rebelliousness would have saved poor Xavier more problems. She’s just annoying.

Teddy Hamilton’s performance was excellent as always. While the female’s performance was good, her sing song slow performance again was annoying.

Cool storyline

To much unnecessary and immature smut talk. I wish the author would not have over done it with all that. It really took away from the story

Good writing and a stellar performance!

This duology has it all; secret societies, witty dialogue and HOT sex. The duet narration just elevates the experience.

The tension and plot twists

Wish this was a three book series, that could give us the back stories of the other characters, but such an amazing listen!

Not my style, but the story overall was decent

I stuck it out to book 2 because I wanted to see how the storyline played out, but I could just not finish it. I'm not a prude by any means, so I know this is just my personal preference, but I could just not get past the dirty talk and the CONSTANT use of p*ssy and c*nt from both MF and MM characters. Literally every reference to the female anatomy was either p*ssy or c*nt and it physically made me cringe every time the narrators said them. There are soooo many other words that could have been rotated in so that not every mention was so crude(and yes i get the style of the book is dark and aggressive, but that can still be conveyed while using other words). But other than that, the story is pretty interesting and entertaining.

Good story plot and spice. Great audio performance. Can't wait for the last book.
