I enjoyed this audiobook. The author has such a warm and welcoming way of explaining ADHD, especially how it shows up in women. I appreciated how everything is designed to be doable, even if you have a crazy schedule or your mind feels all over the place. The section on emotional regulation really stood out to me, and the “Emotional Reset Plan” was something I put to use right away. And I found the 20-minute daily exercises are super manageable, and the bonus tool, like the cleaning checklist and meal planner, was such a nice surprise. I didn't think they would make a difference for me, but they actually helped reduce my daily stress more than I imagined. I loved discovering new things and finding little, practical ways to boost my focus and well-being.

Everyone can have ADHD, and this book is solid proof. The author was diagnosed at the age of 40, feeling hopeless and unsure where to begin coping.

I truly appreciate the author’s honesty in sharing her personal story, rather than offering another flat audiobook filled with generic tips. This book reflects her journey toward regaining control of her life. Every single exercise is thoughtfully designed for people with ADHD and broken down into 20-minute challenges included in the attached PDF, a real bonus. I’ll be printing it out so I can do the exercises even when I’m away from the device I use to listen to the book.

As someone who struggles with sleep, I found Chapter 4, which covers this topic, incredibly enlightening. It’s full of advice I’m planning to try before bed.
