He’s New York’s coldest billionaire CEO.

And I just accidentally became his daughter’s nanny.

To be clear, I didn’t mean to become anyone’s nanny.

There was a coffee shop.

Some bunny-shaped foam art.

And a serious case of mistaken identity.

Now I’m working for Sullivan Beaufort.

Grumpy. Guarded. Sinfully handsome.

And CEO of Beaufort Diamonds.

He’s a self-proclaimed Love-Hater, haunted by a family tragedy that left scars too deep for anyone to reach.

He doesn’t want a nanny.
He definitely doesn’t want me.

But where he is sharp edges, brooding silences, and late-night piano melodies soaked in grief… his two-year-old daughter is belly giggles, mischief, and sticky fingers that have wrapped themselves around my heart.

One minute we’re baking cookies.
The next, I catch Sullivan watching me like I’m both his biggest regret…

and his greatest temptation.

This job was never meant to be forever.

It was stop-gap. A paycheck I desperately needed.

But now?

I don’t know if I can walk away from the man who swears he’ll never fall in love…

Because the music he plays sounds like his soul is begging him to be wrong.

And if I listen closely enough, maybe I’ll finally understand what he’s been afraid of all along.

I know one thing for certain…

When this song comes to an end, none of us will ever be the same.

(Perfect for fans of grumpy billionaire romance, accidental nanny chaos, and slow-burn tension that turns toe-curling hot. Featuring a brooding, piano-playing single dad with a tragic past, a fearless heroine with a heart full of sunshine, and a toddler who just might be the reason they both fall.)

The Love Hater is a billionaire, single dad, nanny, rich guy poor girl trope romance between the CEO of Beaufort Diamonds and a barista from the coffee shop next door to his building. Sullivan lost his mother and brother in a yacht fire and was really struggling to find the will to keep going. But right after losing them, a 3 month old little girl was left at his penthouse door with a note saying she’s his. From then on, he devoted his life to taking care of his sweet little girl Molly. Now almost three years later, he’s struggling to manage his business and take care of his daughter and is in need of someone he can trust to help watch Molly. While snagging coffee with Molly before going into the office, he meets Tate and she steps in to watch Molly while Sullivan has to take some work calls. Thinking Tate is a teacher searching for a job while being a barista and seeing how well she is with Molly, he offers her a nanny job with pay she just can’t pass on. So now Tate is Molly’s new nanny and Sullivan is left wondering if this was such a good idea, because now he is finding it hard to keep it professional when seeing the love and care she has for his daughter and the feelings that he swore he’d never have for a woman ❤️

The slow burn was good in this book, and when they got together the spice was spicing! 👀 I loved the devotion Sullivan had for Molly. Even being a busy CEO, he did his best to be there for his daughter. Even bringing her to work and letting her paint his toe nails pink while on an important calls, making sure he his home every night to have dinner together, and tucking her in to sleep while reading her favorite stories to her. I also loved that while he was extremely attracted to Tate, he was falling in love with her by the way she loved Molly and took care of her. Now he was very hot and cold with Tate and he kept pissing me off with the way he kept playing with her emotions. It explains later why and his grovel was good, but I still wanted to punch him 😂

The audiobook was duet narrated by Madison Mitts and Theodore Zephyr (who is also known as Corvin King). Their performances were perfect for their characters and it really drew me into the story. I was surprised by the emotional depth to this story, and I really liked the sweet HEA. I really enjoyed this book will be checking out more from this author ❤️

Amazing story with a twist near the end. Absolutely loved the duet narration team. T Zephyr 's voice and character acting...top notch. I did not listen to book 2 as I felt the narration of her (daughter/sister) was too ditzy, Will try reading her book instead.

Just WOW!

Great story, very angsty. Very. The mmc is a needlessly tortured person throughout and is constantly making sacrifices for his daughter. Very noble. Even when you’re sure that, “this time” he loves the fmc, this time, for sure he will choose love….yeah no. So there is a LOT of angst going on.

That said, this book is incredibly well written! The love story is wonderful and the characters are amazing and deep. There are some great twists and turns in the storyline that you definitely don’t expect too. The steamy bits are very spicy! Really well done! The narrators are new to me and they are excellent - duet narration style, with fantastic voice acting here! Overall I definitely enjoyed it and can recommend!

Good story!
