Thoughts:
This was such a fun twist of a billionaire romance. Initially I was just a bit shocked by the premise because it was a bit out there. However, really most romance books are in some fashion or another. No one wants to read a book that is so based in reality, because let’s be serious- most book boyfriends are the stuff of fairytales.

The way this story progressed was so cute and felt like an old school rom-com movie!

The audiobook was a dual narration performed by Aiden Snow and Callie Dalton. They were a fun time to listen to!

Overall, an easy and entertaining read/listen to start the new year!

Love and Warner isn't just romance. This book has an element of mystery that thrills and piques your interest as it weaves through the story. The characters are strong, well-written and relatable. This is how a love story should be told. The narration by Aiden Snow and Callie Dalton was tremendous.Their dynamic voices, varied intonation and inflection gave each character a unique voice and personality. They kept the pace steady and it was a joy to listen to them bring the story to life.

Grumpy Billionaire CEO-Fake Marriage Romance 🩷

Warner Landers (MMC) Single 34 year old, now Owner and Billionaire CEO of “Landers Ventures”, after the death of his father. He’s known to be all work, no play and definitely no softie for sob stories about why his company shouldn’t buy out businesses.
Delaney Bayetti (MFC) Single 24 year old graduate student, but hasn’t landed a teaching position yet, daughter of the Bayetti family restaurant, who are currently about to lose their restaurant, because Warner’s company is buying up a big chunk of property and their restaurant happens to be in that deal.
After things go seriously wrong from Delaney’s “talk with Warner”, things seem to snowball downhill from there and hilarity ensues Warner’s carefully planned and orderly life.
This story was a fabulous read and I absolutely devoured the book 📕! I highly recommend to anyone who loves reading about a billionaire who needs to see what finding some family ties can do for them, many laugh out loud moments while reading💕😂💕
The audiobook has wonderful narrator’s and their voices draw you into their world.

Fun romcom with a twist

I appreciate the chance when I can revisit an author and narrators that I haven’t read or listened to in a while. Once I realized the amnesia plot wasn’t going to playout as I expected, I set all expectations aside and just listened. This was just an entertaining story and didn’t feel like a typical romcom.

Delaney contacts the grumpy CEO, Warren, whose company is threatening to close her family restaurant. Her motives are pure to start, but I admire her moxie when an accident leaves Warren with short term amnesia and miscommunication has her pretending to be his wife. Warren is doing his best to tie up the deals his father was working on when he passed. He’s confused and amused by Delaney. These two begin as oil and water but they are both stubborn. It becomes a cat and mouse game as the charade continues. They each have a different end game and reason for keeping it up. The further this goes along, the more they learn about each other and start to give the other what they need. It’s an odd enemies to friends to lovers journey and I’m a fan.

Narrated by Aiden Snow and Callie Dalton. They both have been out of my ears for a while and it was great to hear their funny, engaging performances that enhanced this story.

This started with some While You Were Sleeping vibes, then a little War of the Roses and Mr. and Mrs. Smith mixed in. If that’s your jam, then you need this one.
