Resumen del Editor

A groundbreaking plan to prevent and reverse Alzheimer's disease that fundamentally changes how we understand cognitive decline.

Everyone knows someone who has survived cancer, but until now no one knows anyone who has survived Alzheimer's disease.

In this paradigm shifting book, Dale Bredesen, MD, offers real hope to anyone looking to prevent and even reverse Alzheimer's disease and cognitive decline. Revealing that AD is not one condition, as it is currently treated, but three, The End of Alzheimer's outlines 36 metabolic factors (micronutrients, hormone levels, sleep) that can trigger "downsizing" in the brain. The protocol shows us how to rebalance these factors using lifestyle modifications like taking B12, eliminating gluten, or improving oral hygiene.

The results are impressive. Of the first 10 patients on the protocol, nine displayed significant improvement with three to six months; since then the protocol has yielded similar results with hundreds more. Now, The End of Alzheimer's brings new hope to a broad audience of patients, caregivers, physicians, and treatment centers with a fascinating look inside the science and a complete step-by-step plan that fundamentally changes how we treat and even think about AD.

Reseñas de la Crítica

"The End of Alzheimer's, for the first time, synthesizes the latest science into a practical plan that can reverse Alzheimer's and dramatically improve brain health and function. If you have a brain, read this book." (Mark Hyman, MD, author of the number one New York Times best seller Eat Fat, Get Thin)

"Alzheimer’s is a disease for which there is no cure. Dr. Bredesen’s experimental program gives me hope that there are actions we can all take to care for our brains and keep Alzheimer’s at bay." (Maria Shriver, Today Show)

"The End of Alzheimer’s is a monumental work. Dr. Bredesen completely recontextualizes this devastating condition away from a mysterious and unsolvable process to one that is both preventable and, yes, reversible. Pinning our hopes on pharmaceutical research to develop a miraculous wonder drug has left both physicians and patients empty handed. But now, this comprehensive approach offers solid results, bringing hope to so many." (David Perlmutter, MD, Board-certified neurologist and author, number one New York Times best seller, Grain Brain, and Brain Maker)

A message of hope

The book and protocol presented (ReCoDe), Reverse Cognitive Decline, provides a detailed method it assess your cognitive status, how to determine known causes of cognitive decline, and most importantly how to reverse its effects. If you or your family is affected by SCI, MCI, or Alzheimer’s this is a ray of hope in what is given as a devastating and bleak future for millions. Brilliant research shared openly so recovery is possible. I am sure the story will resonate with many and be the only and life saving life raft fo many. Enjoy and share.

Technical but good

This book is well worth listening. It is performed as well as can be done with so many research and supplemental references. I will be a buying hard copy book later to dive into this topic more. But enjoyed my first exposure as an audio version.

Great Information regarding Congitive Decline

This books is full of information about how to support the brain in the event of cognitive decline. Unfortunately this audio file is not support with any recommended treatments in the form of a PDF file. This means you will have to buy the book to get all the details. Disappointed !

WOW! Foggy? Must read.

Functional medicine has taken a giant step forward with this seminal work by Dr. Dale Bredesen. How many of the working class who are ravaged by cognitive decline could benefit from these new discoveries? May it filter down to the blue collar that
I know.

A must read for everyone

At the first half of the book I was overwhelmed with the information, but the second half brought it all together.
Not only do I feel encouraged with the information, I better understand the cause and symptoms. Thank you doctor Bredesen.

I’m powering information

I listened to this book because I’m a caregiver for mostly Alzheimer’s patients, but I learned so much about myself I am excited there is hope. I wish more people would listen and learn that no one has to decline like this and it’s in your power to make changes now no matter your income status.

Perfect book for Audibl

I find this book very interesting, but I know that I that i would not have read it very far if i would have had to pronounce all the technical data myself. I do feel the reader did a superb job keeping me interested in learning more. Thank you for reading to me and keeping interested in this very important subject matter.
