Ugh the narrators voice is AWFUL.

I would have much preferred Dr. Judson to narrate his own book, his voice is so friendly and nice. This guy sounds like a robot and makes even listening to the first few lines torture. Will be returning to purchase the hard copy.

A great book for self reflecting ones habits

Narrator was easy to follow, enthusiastic and made the book easy to listen to. The book does give helpful advice how to be self aware without sounding pushy or egotistical.

Most worthwhile 5 Hours I have ever spent. Best book on mindfulness and getting control over your life

This was the simplest and yet most powerful way of looking at treating addiction with mindfulness. For me, it isn’t even necessarily about addiction, it is about me not being in control of my mind and time slips away. So it is applicable to gaining control of your life, dealing with ADHD behaviors, anxiety and any other unwanted behaviors.

It is a better way than trying to wrestle with motivation and reward based learning... it translates those into a meditation paradigm which seems much more effective and intuitive to me.

Phenomenal. I think this might end up changing my life.

Good info, but narrator sounds like a advertiser

Sorry, but this was hard to listen to. Sounds like narrator has recorded one sentence at a time, with a voice better used for advertising. too robotic.

Great book on mindfulness

Great book on mindfulness. It is science based and has very practical applications. I highly recommend it

Encouraging

This book has been very helpful as I seek understanding to why I do the things I do and truly want to change. I have been give the resources now it's time to practice the techniques I've gained. I'm keeping this in my library because next time a I read through it a I'll be taking physical notes not just mental ones. Peace and blessings to all

Sweet book.

This book has a really sweet narrative.
If you’re considering meditation in any light but can’t find a reason to buckle down and engage, this book shares a really thoughtful, honest and personal story about personal growth bringing you to a place of helping others. 🙏🏻

Fascinating

A very well done argument for the use of meditation, well illustrated with studies and evidence. I really enjoyed this and look forward to using it at my own practice.
