Great but...
Writing is fantastic. The author reading it not so much. It left me with a narrow perspective of the characters. Mr Crais' cadance became tiresome. The telling coulld have been greatly improved with the right reader. I will listen to more of his work though, even if Mr Crais is the reader.

The author describes the lead character as being very smart with computers and having an extensive amount of combat training and experience but he keeps having him make obvious errors in order to create suspense. Found it to be annoying.
