Her ingenuity

it seemed the main character was always frantic. I admired her tenacity, but would get tired of the continual drama.

A good mystery with characters we care about. Good storytelling and twists that keep us guessing.

The narration is excellent and engaging.

I liked that it was set in Houston. Mostly believable location details but it seemed like anyone could enjoy it. Not written just for Houstonians.
