It's a dark, elite High School enemies to lovers romance with bully and stalker undertones.

Must read!!

Dark bully romance. Enemies to lovers, high school setting with some OW drama. This story follows Crayton and Rebecca (Bex). She recently moved to NYC and is enrolled to attend a prestigious private school. As soon as he sees her, it doesn’t go well because she reminds him of his mother, who was a horrific person responsible for his deepest and darkest traumas.

Bex attempts to hold her own but the bullying and all the drama from the OW in the story is a lot. She has some supportive friends, the secondary characters in our story, and that’s the only way she gets through this.

Bex is SA’d after a party and that is really the turning point for the MMC when he realizes that his feelings of protectiveness and care for her are a lot stronger than his feelings of hate, and at that point, they become inseparable. The other woman in the story is not happy about this turn of events, and she really ups the ante to hurt the both of them, going so far as to frame Crayton for a crime that he did not commit. Don’t get it twisted, he has done some things in the book, but he actually did not do the thing he was accused of.

Our story ends with him behind bars, essentially doing time for not the original crime, but a lesser degree. But him and Bex are committed to making the relationship work until his release.

This is book 1 in what will be a series of interconnected standalone’s. So we already have a little insight into what book 2 is going to be about at the end of this book. I love the story. The writing is amazing. I literally could not put it down , it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The spice is so, so good. This is a definite must read.

Satan's Spawn is book one in the Royal Heathens series. This is my first book by Jenna Styx. I really enjoyed this book. I recommend checking Trigger Warnings before reading. I can't wait for book two.

Cecily Foster and Michael Norman Johnson did a great job narrating this book.

Intense and Raw!

This was my first Jenna Styx's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in the Royal Heathens series, a dark high school bully full length romance. Crayton and Rebecca's story is intense, raw, and captivating, filled with drama, intrigue, and twists and turns. They are both enigmatic characters. Cecily Foster and Michael Norman Johnson did a fantastic job bringing these characters and this story to life. Looking forward to more in the series. #PFPAudio

Excellent Audiobook

This is the first audiobook I've read/listened to written by Jenna Styx. It was a long one, and I didn't want to pause it. Was glad to be traveling for minimal interruptions! This was a bullies, enemies to lovers romance that had me completely invested in the characters. So much so that I cannot wait to listen to the next book! Do pay attention to the warnings. Some blood play almost made me physically ill. I will say this is probably one of the best endings I've read yet, and why I'm giving it five stars!

Cecily Foster and Michael Norman Johnson brought these characters together life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. It was perfection. Love their voices.
