Intense, Suspenseful, and Steamy

Wow, this book pulled me in right from the start. Nikolai and Katarina had amazing chemistry. This mafia romance is intense, suspenseful, and steamy. The storyline is action packed and filled with twists and turns. I couldn't put this book down!! I highly recommend this page turner!.

Martina Ciccia did a great job bringing Nikolai and Katarina to life. She did great portraying their emotions. I didn't love some of the male voices that she did but overall it was a great listen.

Nikolai and Katarina

This is the audiobook. I previous read the ebook. The audio made this book come to life!i love Nikolai and Katarina’s characters together. They compliment each other well. They have a lot of chemistry. I liked seeing how their relationship developed after Katarina agrees to be with Nikolai. This book contains some suspense and violence. I liked the plot and how the story came together. I can’t wait to see which characters are next in this series.

the whole storyline was good

what i didn't like was the way the narration was told. I believe the narrator needs more practice. The storyline was good but the narrator speaking slow and drawn out made it boring.

Nikolai & Kata

Meh! It was well written, but Nic pissed me off at every turn with his manipulation & Coercion of Kata when he kidnapped her. Granted he saved her from that jerk who drugged her, it still pissed me off and I was irritated at her for giving in. I get that it was the point of the story, but I just wanted her to have some more self control. I realize Nic was the hero at the end; yeah-yeah, so what!
His earlier behavior had irked me so much that I never got past irritation with him.
I’ve read many book with similar tropes, so it wasn’t that per se, it was just the ease with which she gave in.
However, all of that being said, the book was still fairly well done.

The narration was ok. There was only 1 narrator, so she had to change her voice depending on if it was masculine or feminine.

This is the story of Nikolai and Kata! In the name of vengeance he goes after the mafia princess but turns out he got more than he could have bargained for. The story is often intense with revenge, vengeance, retribution, passion, plot twists, danger, passion, suspense, action, surprises and so much more plus love, lots of love.

Ruthless Mafia King by A J Summers is a good, and enjoyable dark billionaire mafia arranged marriage age gap surprise pregnancy enemies to lovers romance read. The story has a great entertaining world building story line. The characters are great, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining read. The audio made the book come to life. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Loved the narration of Martina Ciccia, who brings the drama, angst , action and heat all to your ears

To stop a guns war deal Katarina's bratva father agrees that Nikolai and Katarina marry him. But Katarina's father backs out of the deal once he gets the first shipment. He now thinks he has the upper hand and make another deal.
Nikolai is man you break a deal with and kidnaps Katarina. Nikolai tells her she can stay with him and be protected or go back to her father. Making her have a target.
The more these two are together heat and sparks fly. This book has suspense, danger, secrets, action, heat and romance.

Life mates

This book is a great love story. It is filled with palpable emotions and violence that comes with the lifestyle of the Bravata. Nicolas knows what he wants. He goes after it as only he can. He is a strong alpha male who needs a strong woman. This is their love story.

Getting What He Wants

This story was full of excitement and suspense as events unfolded. Nikolai’s desire to marry Katarina drives the plot into actions from all parties. The tension from the danger and emotional nuances performed by Martina Ciccia was evident throughout this audiobook. I enjoyed the fact that she could narrate multiple characters, including their accents. It was an easy listen!

What I liked- the book was easy to read, fast paced, and well written. And the hero likes the heroine to finish first and more often.
What I didn’t- points deducted because Kata’s father went back on his word more than once and Nikolai STILL went all in with him. It seemed a foolish decision. I don’t care who he’s related to, once a person breaks their word like that….
Narration review- I wasn’t as impressed with the voice acting as I was with the story. The narrator’s voice wasn’t as expressive as I would like, particularly when she was doing the male POV. But she was clear and easy to understand.
