Damnit!!!!

This book took me thru all the emotions. I cried for both of them in the end. No one should have to choose btw 2 evils. The beginning is slow but the ending makes it worth it

Slow story

I kept hoping the pace would pick up but it was very slow. Not a lot of romance and very low spice level. The main part of the story seemed to be about the beat a not the main characters.

What a great twisted story

The story kept me listening and intrigued. April found herself pregnant 🤰 turning to the father who she finds out is the Don of the Bratva, for help. April placed her faith and love in her babies father only to be burned over and over again. The Don stuck with the old illusion that you can only trust your family to then have your family betray you; causing you to give up on your one chance a happiness. I hate that it ends on a cliffhanger. Great performance

Inner monologue death!

Sooo I’m a huge fan of Nicole Fox, this story was great, had a lot of great moments but the inner monologue killed it for me! Several times I stopped the story and had to fight to come back because I was so tired of the inner monologue for April and Matvey! But the storylines connecting kept me coming back to find out what happened. But OMG the inner monologue messed it up sooo many times for me.

Repeats a lot causing frustration toward end

I have 24 minutes to go in the book and im completely frustrated with the repeating and drawn out ranting that goes on in the book by the main male character. It makes me want to stop the book and move to something else. Hopefully, it will wrap up but I hear this is a cliffhanger. I'm not sure i'll even finish it for fear the next book follows suit.

The blood ties

I didn’t like the story how it was very sad and unattached. I felt like it was empty.

waste of time and money

Book1 and Book2 are both half of what could be a great story. Unfortunately they are two parts of two different stories. so you finish with book1 and begin book2 in the middle of a totally different story!!! yup So to say it is a total waste of time and money is all I can say. I would love to read both stories from start to finish.Or I'd like my money back.
