Yakov and Mila's forbidden love story is slow-paced and filled with passion, angst, intrigue, danger, and twists and turns. Mafia King's Broken Vow!

WOW! The audiobook is wonderfully narrated. What a gripping, emotional and intriguing story about a broken man and a women trying to save him but is also broken. The story is part of the "New York Bratva" series. It can be read as a stand alone but is much better if the stories are read in order. There are connected characters and connected families. This one is about Yakov and Mila. This is an interesting story with some dark elements and two intriguing characters. I enjoyed the story from beginning to end. The characters past leads them down and interesting path with some suspense, action and drama. I did like the story and some of the secondary characters. This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

A New Perspective

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I loved reading this mafia romance, but the narration in the audiobook brought out some amazing nuances.

Lovely entertainment

I enjoyed this story. The story line was unique and different from any bratva story that I have read. A broken man is imprisoned in a mafia prison and a lady therapist is assigned to study him.
From the beginning, the passionate tension is there. They are attracted to each other easily. The romantic times when they happen are well written. Enough detail on both sides without being too wordy.
The voice actors do a very good job. Their voices are clear and warm. They really made the characters come alive.
