I Enjoyed It

I really enjoyed this book. Good world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Vasiliyi and Galina. I liked the dynamic between them and the way their relationship evolved- hate to obsession- to love. The chemistry between them would not be denied and these two kept bouncing back into each others' orbit. The story had tension and suspense, and danger and fast-paced action. I enjoyed learning more about these two and what had happened that led them to where they were at the start of this book as the story progressed. The final confrontation towards the end was exciting. Shane Martinez and Clinton Woodhams did a great job bringing their characters and this story to life. I loved the accents. This is my first story by this author and I would listen to more. This is also my first time listening to these narrators and I plan to hear more of their work.

Great Story

I had a good time reading Mafia King's Ruthless Obsession. I loved seeing the character development of Galina. In book 3, Mafia Prince's Secret Baby, I didn't like her. But reading this one, I was blown away by the change in her character, and I honestly like her more. I couldn't put this down. I loved reading it and getting to know the characters better.
This is a series of standalones, and you don't have to read the books in order for things to make sense. It isn't necessary, but if you like knowing the side details of the characters' relationships, then I recommend reading in order. In the books, if previous couples are mentioned, it doesn't go into their story, so if you read out of order, it doesn't have spoilers in that regard.

This is more for 18+ readers, as there is some content that may not be suitable for all readers. I loved reading Mafia King's Ruthless Obsession and highly recommend it. I can't wait to read more in this series.

Vasiliya and Galina

I have not read this book before so this is my introduction to the story and it was quite descriptive, maybe too descriptive. There's a lot of inner dialog that some of the plot progression and momentum gets lost. The narrators do a good job in bringing the story to life.
