loved the suspence

i can't wait to read book 2. i love mafia suspense book. love audio books.

Narrator

Female narrator sounds and feels like she is reading to me instead of it feeling like hearing a story. It’s almost like I am in school except for the steamy parts. I loved the story up until the fml starts making irritating choices, she feels more like a caricature than a well-rounded character.

Guess I’m Just Old Fashion

I’m just about every romantic storyline, the female characters discuss their male partner genitalia. There’s absolutely no way to real life that I would ever describe my partners goodies. Absolutely not. Heck, the other women might try and make a move on him

Love the audiable

Loved it! The auditable voices were so realistic . Great story. I loved both of the characters. Can’t wait for the next book.

Best book I’ve read in 2025.

I was in a reading slump. I felt like every book I read was blah, then I stumbled upon this piece of perfection. It was love at first voice😍. First time reading a book by these authors or listening to these narrators. I was pleasantly surprise. The story is so good. The male narrator voice was dreamy😍 I felt like I was cheating on Teddy Hamilton, sorry Teddy. Can’t wait to start book 2.

The Narration!

If you love that "fierce protector" type romance then this is your book! James Cassidy has such an amazing voice that it makes you get completely lost in this story. I'd listen to it over and over again.

The romance is good but .

The romance is amazing, the writing and acting is amazing. But the mafia part is... i dont know, its lacking something. I cant put my finger on it.
