Matteo and Heaven

Interesting with Heaven and her brother as co underboss to their father. Only he is a screw up that lands them on the radar of the Cartel. Her dad seeks the help of Matteo who agrees but only with a marriage to Heaven as payment. She is not happy but eventually agrees. There is so much in this story betrayal, deception, passion, action, and twists. Good narrators.

I found this very boring, I don't know if it was the narrators but I found myself zoning out in other thoughts while listening or trying to listen that is.

Steamy new series

Lies, betrayal, suspense, loyalty, regrets, arranged marriage. angst, steam, manipulation, growth. and love can all be found in the complex, captivating story. Book 1 in the Sinfully Savage series did not disappoint. Sarah Puckett and Tor Thom as expected narrated to perfection.

Loved the Story

I enjoyed their relationship. So many times the women in the Mafi stories are fragile and weak but Heaven was strong and self assured. The bedroom scenes were good. Would have been happy with more scenes with more details;)

Pretty Good

This is my first book by Kristin Luciani and I must say, I really enjoyed it. I'm on a dark Mafia kick and this one did not disappoint. FMC & MMC are both strong and have strong chemistry from the start.

The narrators did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life. I look forward to the rest of the series. I was provided a copy of the book for an honest review but the opinion is entirely my own.

Mateo and Heaven

This mafia story is what I expect. Danger, drama, secrets, betrayal,
Mateo, the ultimate alpha is Conniving, strategist, ,playing both sides, to come out a winner , just biding his time to destroy one cartel and take over the other..
He didnt expect to fall in love with Heaven, the mob boss daughter.
She's not a wallflower, she's strong , independent, oh has a temper.
Together, they are hot, steamy. both are slow to trust each other.
this story is exciting, action packed, danger, with a cliffhanger that makes me wanting for more.
Sarah Puckett and Tor thom are exceptional.storyteller s. Sarah Puckett, as usual, brings.life to her characters. Tor Thom deep, sexy voice, is what I envision the hot Mateo would sound like. like. Thank you for a great listen.

Savage ruler

Overall a good storyline but her foolishness in deciding to take out the enemy by herself, except she did have help, did not make sense. Why a cliff hanging ending? That was disappointing!

Great start to a series

Savage ruler had what we come to expect from the mafia genre and one I haven't read much about: a strong heroine in the mafia. Matthew and heaven had instant chemistry from the start and made for some sizzling scenes when they were intimate. There was betrayal, action commaction karma and annoying characters that you wanted to smack lol. Sarah and Tor did a great job narrating and I think their voices seemed to match the characters and their personalities.

Had Potential

This felt like like an early draft of the story. The transitions felt abrupt, and the character changes too quick. There were some great concepts, but it needed some refinement.

The FMC lacked a level of calculation, and follow through.
The female narrator didn’t help. How can you mispronounce so many words?

Male narrator was great. MMC was a better version of many gangsters in perception of woman in business.
