So good

I loved the slow burn and even though it was really slow the story was so good I barely noticed. The build up was fantastic. It does end on a cliff hanger. Book 2, where are you?

A good story, worth the listen! Not amazing, just a fun story in between another book you may be reading.

Fun, mafia-like urban Fae listen

Cate just wants to save her brother, but of course, that means striking a deal with Lachlan—a deadly, broody Fae prince who oozes danger and secrets. One minute, they’re navigating a gritty urban underworld, and the next, they nip away to the Otherworld, where things get even more complicated. Forced proximity? Check. Mafia-like power plays? Absolutely. Simmering tension? HOT—though the real spice doesn’t kick in until the last hour.

The story had me hooked, full of twists, betrayals, and just the right amount of snark. I listened to the audiobook, which was fantastic, but the male narrator only showed up at the end—tragic, really.

Overall, a fun, gripping read that kept me thoroughly entertained!
