If you like a book that is part of a fantastic series this is for you. I love how it can stand on its own but has characters from other books in the series. Can’t wait for the next one!

Waited a long time for Lairds story

good narrators....tied in with the sister Nicki. Reasonable amount of angst.......a lot of accidents......good stable family to keep
the story line from being a downer. Glad this book finally available.

Great story line

Story written more like real life not fairy tale. Couple sad moments and happy. Made me laugh out loud at times. Very well wtitten!!!

Great plot and performance

I really enjoyed this book and the story. The only reason it isn’t a 5 star is because insta-love is a bit hard to nail for me and this was missing something. The performance was great and I do love Laird & Poppy.

Normally I can’t get behind an insta-love trope… but I loved how this was done! The narration by Summer Morton & Jacob Morgan was great. Laird & Poppy were brought to life by these two, and they kept me hanging on with every chapter.

S.L. Scott was a new to me author, and I loved all of the twists and turns that she wrote into the story. If you’re looking for a great audiobook, with all of the kismet love story vibes, this is it!

Laird & Poppy

I thought the audio was really good! I liked how the two narrators brought these characters to life - we get this great sense of tension. I especially liked how Jacob gave Laird this great broody-ness to his voice.

Oh Laird, I loved how he was all in with Poppy - once he understood what was going on he was so patient and determined to get her to fall in love with again. There is no question they shared a special connection. I also loved how Laird’s family was so supportive of Poppy.

This was a sweet story

I am always a sucker for a second chance romance and Never Have I Ever had the fun little twist of the amnesia trope with two healthy doses of insta-love. This was an endlessly sweet story about falling in love with the same person twice, the only problem is that only one of them remembers the first time. He’s a rockstar and she’s a personal chef. They shared a whirlwind weekend together where she showed him how to live again and parted ways with promises of tomorrow. The only problem is that tomorrow never came until two years later when their pasts mysteriously cross again and Laird discovers that Poppy has no idea who he is. This second chance, rockstar, forced proximity, hate to love (the second time) romance is a sweet romance with a bit of drama.

I loved how Laird was always there for Poppy after he got over his initial shock and anger. Having the woman you love, who destroyed your life, not remember you understandably took some time to get over. As Poppy’s past is revealed, this story took a sharp left from hate to love. I adored Laird so much. Even when he was angry, he was always the good guy, taking care of Poppy when she needed him. And poor Poppy was so confused about why he was angry. As the story unfolds, it gets sweet and steamy until everything comes together. This was a fun and light read that has the most satisfying ending. I’m quite intrigued about the rest of the series now too.

An "unforgettable" rockstar romance!

I loved everything about this book!

I loved the characters, the dilemma from the beginning, and their "re-meet cute" (loved that part a lot!!!)

My 1st thought when this book came out was, "YAY!!! Poppy got her own book!!!" But also was super excited To get Laird Faris's story as well! I love the little Easter eggs dropped throughout and The bringing up of characters from author SL Scott's other books that she's written.

You definitely don't have to read Any of the previous books as this can be read as a stand-alone However it is great to be able to see The characters from other books and series as you read it... And it is definitely not a hardship to read the other books before this one. LOL

Author SL Scott did an amazing job writing this book! She Wrote the story so well and it flowed so wonderfully. I love the little aha moments that were throughout the story. It was one of those reads where you were like,"Oh wow that was perfect!" Laird figuring things out and thinking he figured things out was great!

I can say that I did not care for poppy's mother one bit! I seriously wanted to punch her in the face!!!! But I love Laird's family...so that kinda kept me from throwing my reader. 😂

This is a Rockstar, second-third chance, romance that can be read as a standalone.
I seriously loved this!!!!

Jacob Morgan and Summer Morton were music to the ears! I really liked their narration of this incredible book!!!

This was a fun listen! Such a story full of love, FULL! The amnesia and piecing together their story once again was beautiful.
