I really wanted to love this series...

Sadly by the end, I was sick of how selfish these women are. 😪

GREAT stories. BUT...

I hate to criticize anyone, but since others have spoken honestly I'm going to also.

Book #3...3 stars for narration if I could separate the books ratings.
The female narrator was so hard to listen to & made it very hard to fully enjoy the book, especially in the beginning. I held on because I love S.L. Scott & know her books will most likely keep me on the edge of my seat, so I wanted to see if this storyline would be as good as all of the others I'd listened to so far. I generally finish a book within 1-2½ days at most. If it wasn't for the storyline I wouldn't have wanted to finish the book. And I've finished some poorly written books w/ excellent narrators just because I paid for the books & because I love the narrators. But her robotic type voice was waxing & waning & she slaughtered male voices. Just a HORRIBLE choice for the character of Stella. I'm sorry.

I loved the other books except I don't understand why the woman always have to be so stand offish from being loved w/out ever showing they've dealt with their pain in a healthy way & the men just take their crap over & over. Make these women have to win their men back sometimes. I know these are fairytale type romances but I don't know if I'd want a man who allowed me to treat him that badly & then him not wanting us to explore the pain that caused my reaction to him. These damaged women need help & you should be writing about them getting that in your books too. So many people are in therapy. The majority of your characters need it. ;^)!

Love the storyline & characters!

I absolutely love how different each brothers story was plus the twists! My favorite was RIVERS by far so many twists. The female voice for Stella didn’t match for me at all but it grew on me bc the story was so well written! Thank you for such a beautiful series! I couldn’t put it down! Their went my weekend but wouldn’t change it!

This series is a must read or listen

SL Scott has taken me on this glorious ride of love, laughter and tears. Another 5 star series.
