Was GREAT until the end

I really liked this book until an event happened at the end that I knew was coming but was so rushed, poorly written, and unresolved that I just can’t get past it. Especially since Juliette made a fuss about it a few times, And I don’t blame her a bit for it. How could he even think about letting that happen? Did he tell her? What was her reaction? Did he lie? I wanted all those answers.
Henley was a pr!(k about his assistant but she couldn’t event talk to her interior designer? GTFOH with that! GAH! This would’ve been a 4 star listen if it wasn’t for that glaring lack of resolve.

☹️☹️☹️ Not my Favorite of T L Swan Story!!☹️☹️☹️

Seriously???? I was anxiously waiting for this audiobook, and it wasn’t what I was expecting! I refuse to believe T L Sawn wrote this story! It starts with some action, but throughout the plot gets repetitive! I slept twice during my listening, and I had to go back, realizing that I didn’t missed anything! It is not a story on the level of "The Miles High Club
or "Mr. Series." Unfortunately, it was monotonous, not even the characters for the next books awaked my curiosity. I have all books of T L Swan and I love all of them, but NOT this one, sorry for my honesty. The narrators were stellar, but it was too much of Bloom, 70% of the narration. I would love more of Catalano, I love his performance as well as bloom, but the story needed more action. I hope the next story of Kingston Lane Series will have more going one. Maybe, this is your type of story telling because on the end, we all have different taste. Anyway, enjoy your listening.

I never laughed so hard

Juliet and Henley enemies to lovers trope .🌶️🌶️🌶️ level . Narrator CJ Bloom brought this all the way through fantastic job. I so wish the story was a bit more developed as we skipped around a lot.

The book was okay and I enjoyed listening to it. I can't wait for the other characters.

steamy, enemies to lovers, complex mmc which I loved, forced proximity, hae (happily ever after ending) it had it all. narrators were good too!

Hot and Cold

This books portrays Katy Perry’s Hot and Cold on the MC. I love most of T.L Swan’s female character where they are like the heroine of the story. However, we all have a moment where when all hope is lost, all you have is yourself to save, which is apparently the FC failed to be the heroine of this story. She fails to save herself from the situation and keeps hoping things would change ( eventhough they are eventually). But at what point will you stop counting on being let down so many times and move on? Obviously she is desperate.

CJ Bloom is a great narrator as usual but when it’s told through her voice, the FC sounded really desperate. The MC narrator can bring a little more animation to his tone. He sounded really cold, and if that is what supposed to be portrayed then he did a really good job, because there is no excitement in the MC character at all.

T.L Swan writings are unique in a way. Love the banters especially coming from the female POV. We only hope that is actually what we would say IRL which makes it hillarious. T.L knows how to make FC sounded so powerful and strong. But I guess this book she wants to have a little different take on strong and powerful. However, T.L never fails to make the hot scenes believable. You can literally imagine every details and all.

Nevertheless, would look forward for the next series. Rebecca’s character seems to be a different character to develop, regardless the playboy Blake antics behavior with women. We’ll see how the next one develops.

It started off great but the end seemed kinda rushed but still a great book!

So I have enjoyed other books by this author but I found the MMC to be unlikeable, so many red flags that the FMC overlooked. It was a tough read for me.

This story is a good one it has all the details you could possibly want in a story like this!

Good but one big and one small 'big' issue!

3.5 Stars for me!

This would have been a 4.5 Star for me but it drives me insane when an h only thinks with her libido and gives into the H when he pushes her sexual buttons. It happened multiple times in the story and it sets the expectation to some male readers that sex is the answer to any issue. The other thing that is frustrating is that the H can nearly split the h in half with his trouser club. They should require the Fantasy label on these stories as it encompasses about 3% if the male population. 🤗

The good, TL is a fantastic author and other than what I listed above, it was a very good Story. The H had a complicated family life, especially with a dad in a nursing home dealing with Alzheimers. Some friends were dealing with tough issues while others were seemingly floating through life.

Definitely worth the read/listen.
