I laughed and also teared up! Great story when it can bring out all emotions. Awesome narration!

Great characters

Vi Keeland never disappoints. As always a great read full of plot twists and erotic romance.

Naomi and Dawson meet at their best friends' wedding in the middle of the night with an accidental black eye and broken knuckles.

I can't remember the dog's name, sorry. The scene where he unpacks Dawson's suitcase made me snort laugh out loud.

The MML is an asshole, deserves the bracelet and is an HR nightmare, except he's the boss and no HR. Don't worry, Vi Keeland redeems him by the end, although she definitely had me hating him.

The MFL, Naomi stays a strong lead throughout the book, even when going through her sister's illness with her.

Sometimes the MML constantly bringing things around to sex and the inappropriate comments from him turned me off. Vi Keeland turned that around a bit, thankfully.

NOW, the narrators Andi Arndt and Sebastian York were phenomenal. Sebastian York did a fantastic job of making me hate the MML initially, and at least accepting him by the end, not quite loving him though. The crying scene, voicing the bar tender role, chef's kiss as folks like to say. The reference to slam poetry and writing poetry was a nice touch if anyone knows anything about Sebastian York.

Frannie's kids were great. I wish her daughter had been featured more and her son is going to be a force. Narrator Andi Arndt did a phenomenal job with the kid voices and is just overall a consumate performer with timing and delivery. Voicing Frannie's voice after the transplant had me crying, Andi did such a fantastic job.

Andi Arndt did a phenomenal job with the teenage voice too when Dawson flashed back. Is there any she can't do? Sebastian York has gotten better with performing female voices.

There are triggers for terminal illness, death and loss. Open door sex scenes, including the dog humping turtles. Be prepared to laugh, to both love and hate Dawson and by the end I hope you love the book as much as I do.

totally enjoyed this

It made me laugh outloud and made me sob in sorrow. So many of the senerios hit close to home. This will be a read again book. Loved the dual narrations.

Great Humor and story. Great find. I really enjoyed listening to this. Great comedic beginning, Loved hearing about the dog and turtle. Totally cracked me up. Half way through and can't wait to hear the rest.
