Twisty Rock 'n Rollercoaster Ride--Loved it!

This is my first book by Penelope Ward. I really enjoyed it. At first, I didnt think I would because of the larger age gap (15 yrs), but Emily is older than her 22 yrs because of things she's had to deal with in her teens. I loved the characters of Emily and Tristan. They connect early on by confiding in each other about some pretty big secrets. But Emily still has one secret that flips their worlds upside down. I found it to be wonderfully twisty, but also heartbreaking for a while. Everything comes to a completely satisfying conclusion that literally takes you to the very end and the last word. I loved it!!

I bought the book because Connor Crais is my favorite narrator. He narrates with Andi Arndt and they are superb in this! It's truly a talent how they are able to be so expressive with just their voices, and I am in awe! They are both so easy to listen to, and time just seemed to fly. I could not put it down and finished in a single session. Complete enjoyment!

Emotional

This story is beautiful I can’t stop thinking about it. I feel a lot of emotions in my heart now …Thank you Penelope Ward ! This is much more than rockstar story! I love how you showed us the healing process both of your main characters and I wish it could be so smooth in real life too …Beautiful book!

What an amazing story and turn of events! Their love story is so swoon worthy and just true true heart warming. This book is a must read!!!

this book was so good I loved the the storyline I loved the characters the narrator but I especially loved how it ended and the little twists you know twist and turns of the book really excellent job with this book

What a Story

The story's characters are the best. Both the H/h are believable and endearing. They both pull the listener in and hold their attention through the entire story.
The two narrators do a wonderful job making everyone come to life! The different voices, especially Arnot's, are perfect for creating an image in the readers' minds as they listen.
Looking forward to the next book.

Angsty with an Interesting Twist

4.5 stars ⭐️ The Rocker’s Muse is a new standalone with an age gap, small town, rockstar, and forbidden. Emily wanted to find Tristan to tell him a truth he needed to know. Ashley a famous rockstar, getting close to him was easier than Emily planned. She went to work for his band. What neither Emily nor Tristan planned was falling for each other. This novel had the angst, the twists and the emotional maturity that I’ve come to expect from a Penelope Ward novel. The characters were well developed. The romance, while on the slower side, was full of chemistry, charm, and pining. I thoroughly enjoyed The Rocker’s Muse, which you will have to read the book to understand the meaning behind the title.

Lovable characters and great story

I am not usually into age gap of this much but this story was so amazing and the characters so lovable and special that it was easy to see past that. Besides, Penelope Ward wrote it so it is so well done. That and the fact that Tristen cares about their age difference and tries to fight his feelings for Emily for a long time. The narration is fantastic! It really brought the emotion to life for both Tristen and Emily. Loved it and cannot wait for Atticus!!

I loved everything about this book! The narration was perfect and really made the characters come alive!

Serendipity

Tristan is a famous rock star with an instant attraction to Emily, they had a deep connected. Emily was hired as a temp while his band was touring the states. Slow burn. Emily lost someone she loved and now was trying to do the right thing. Very enjoyable, no cheating or angst and some tears. There is a huge twist I didn’t see coming and loved that journey. HEA. The epilogue was phenomenal. Narrators did a fantastic job.
