Kate agrees to do a reality show similar to the Bachelor. Cooper is a movie man with a younger brother who is producing this reality show. Cooper is seen nothing but a bank for Milo, so when he needs money for the show...

During the taping of the show, Cooper plays poker with some of his dad's friend. There is one exception, the dealer is a beautiful woman named Kate. Yes, that Kate.

They are instantly attracted to one another, so the games begin. Cooper doesn't realize that she is on the Bachelor style show that his brother, Milo is producing until he decides to sit in on the planning meeting because of the amount of money invested in the show on Milo's behalf.

Now, real and reality clash!!! Cooper wants to get to know Kate better, however she has signed a contract not to date anyone during the recording of this TV show and for several months after.

What are they do? Especially, as Kate finds her bachelor to be someone she could love.

So many are writing in both the female and the male point of view. Dual narration is becoming more popular and these two performers, Sebastian York & Molly Glenmore, are exceptional

I've read several books by Vi Keeland, this is my first standalone and it is fantastic! I have no hesitation recommending it to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance.I cannot wait to add more of my of her books to my library.

Note: However, due to strong language and mature themes, it is for an adult audience.

Five stars across the board

Needed better narration

I have been on a Vi Keeland binge lately, and have enjoyed all the stories so far. This one is nowhere near as funny as the others I've been listening to, but I did like it. I love Cooper's filthy mouth and his take charge attitude. This is not my favorite Vi Keeland book, but I would still recommend it.

I was really disappointed in the narration. Sebastian York was as good as he always is, I have no complaints there. Molly Glenmore, on the other hand, was not. She is inconsistent in her characterization, making it hard to determine who is talking. Worse than that, her voice for Cooper was abominable.

I've listened to a few stories recently the were performed simultaneously by the male and female leads (meaning: regardless of whose chapter it was, if there was dialogue, it was performed by both narrators together, like an actual conversation. - See "Challenge" by Amy Dawes as an excellent example of this) That's my favorite kind of narration. You get a good feel for who the characters are, and there is continuity throughout the story.

I listened to the whole thing mainly because I spend about 25 hours a week in my car and drive over 1,000 miles. Listening to the same music over and over gets old, so I spend my money on Audio books. Once I spend that money, I can't seem to not listen to a story all the way through. It's a real drag when a story makes the hours drag on, rather than making the time fly by.

Female narrator thumbs down, everything else...

Everything else is great!! I got this book because of the author and Sebastian York who I just Love to listen to, but once the female started speaking it was really hard to get through. Her voice is way too deep and raspy, it was very out of place for a romance story. I’ll have to make note of her name and not buy anymore books that she narrated. Otherwise great story here, I definitely enjoyed it!! Sorry Molly!!

How can you go wrong Sebastian York as a narrator. Is voice is delicious. I loved the story and I hadn't read the book yet so I wasn't sure what to expect.
Molly Glenmore did an excellent job as well!

I love Vi's books so this was a no brainier for me. Can't wait for Flynn's story

Enjoyed this book

I liked the main characters and the premise of this Vi Keeland steamy romance.
Cooper and Kate are solid and believable in this modern day tale of the struggles of finding real love.
Sebastian York does his usual superb job as Cooper's narration. Molly Glenmore does great narration as Kate.
Keeland wraps the story up well.

Female narrator ruined this one for me...

After a little over an hour, I had to cut it. The female narrator annoyed the absolute bleeding hell out of me. She has a nice, deeper tone of voice, but she cuts it to a very exaggerated, monotone huskiness that completely took away from what she was trying to say. I felt like I was listening to a 1-900 sex line commercial from the 90s. So disappointing, because the story was intriguing, and, as always, Sebastian York was fantastic. May see if I can find the book to read instead of listening, just so I can see how it ends 😊

Eh

This is so boring. The story is interesting enough. I want to know what happens, but I have no interest in this relationship. I don’t really like any of the characters. It makes it hard to listen to. Even the sex scenes are boring to me.

About the Narrators

Sebastian York is one of my favorites. I like Molly Glenmore, but not her male voice; it was not sexy and changed the mood .

Great story with fabulous narrators!!

Absolutely loved the narrating on this book. These two are fantastic! Give it a listen, you won't regret it.
