Same here listen to crow brothers first but I loved this series

It really had me on the edge of my seat also so hot all threw the book I just love fairy tale ending but I don’t understand is the volume 3-5 book about there kids or a hole different family.

Holy Hotness!

For a change, this double book was definitely worth a credit! What made Dalton an even hotter man than his sexy physical presence was his true love & devotion to Holiday - just wow. When Dalton hurt, my heart hurt. Holiday made some really stupid decisions, & for a while there, I thought Tracy was giving very bad advice to her friend. Could I trust a bad boy musician who traveled on tour for months away from me? This book had multiple stressing situations on both sides of this romance, but I was glad to see the final resolution- it restored my faith in love & trust. The hot scenes were so fine!

I would have preferred much more narration by Sebastian York, but Stephanie Wyles was impressive carrying the load. I could listen again just to hear SY say my favorite expletive.

Should have read this book 1st!

After reading the Crow brothers story and got a little confused by all the other characters I stumbled apon this one & I loved it! Will probably reread the Crow bothers again just b/c it really completes the whole series. thanks for sharing!

I read the Crow brothers first which lead me to this series. I love Dalton!

this was one of the most amazing books that I have listened to in a very long time. it had me on a rollercoaster of emotions.
will be listening to this again... well worth the read!!!

I am learning to not always follow the moderate reviews. So glad I ignored the reviews about Holliday. The character was great. She was different in how she reacted to circumstances. This is the real life of how different people can respond unusually to a situation. Thank goodness for the reality of the writing of this author. If all the books read the same our library of listening would be minimal. Great series!!! Looking forward to the next one.

Binge worthy

I don't know how I just stumbled upon this book. Great narration, and an even better story!! Now, onto the next set!!

Wow! What an Angsty Romance!

S.L. Scott's Hard to Resist series of rock star romances starts off with Books 1 and 2, "The Resistance" and "The Reckoning." Both books focus on the band's frontman, Johnny Outlaw (aka Jack Dalton), and the love of his life, Holliday Hughes. These characters are brought to life by the narrating talents of Sebastian York, Stephanie Wyles and Ava Erickson, and they bring all the emotion, steamy chemistry, and intensity that Scott has infused into the tale. I adore the books, as well as the audio performances, and I am so excited to listen to the rest of the series as soon as possible. Absolutely one of the best Audible purchases I made in 2023!

Love these characters! I want more

Who doesn’t love a fairy tale. It was a fun ride getting to know these characters. The rock star and the self made woman. Only thing that would make it better was music!
