The overall story is good… but…
Narration is overly dramatic.
Progression is to slow…and…
It is getting repetitive.

3/4 of this story takes place in the same couple of locations; against the same few antagonists. The main story arc never seems to go anywhere. It would be nice to learn more lore. All the main relationships between the characters are a little weird.

Good story

It seems as though the story is looking for a reason to keep the MC weak. the progression is truly at a snails pace but I do love the characters, except for Allen. His extreme stupidity is an eyesore

love the series..

another great addition to the series. Love the characters and fighting scenes. can't wait for the next.

love this series

The first half of this book about the monster board felt pointless.
There was no development for the 1st 6 hours.
Then there's a time skip and we finally get to see the MC make progress in his cultivation in the last 10 minutes of the book.

Talentlessness of the MC is known, but im waiting to see all these various gift and talents become real abilities. After 4 books he's still pretty much in the same position. He grew, but still at the bottom of the totem pole.

Felt Like A filler book

4 books, 4! And the mc hasnt even reached the first stage?? SMH, This series is one big fluff. that the author is milking. Sad because this series had the potential to be amazing. Then some how the author seems to go out of his way to make the mc suck as long as possible. Imagine if Naruto had every tailed beast inside of him and the shadigan but stayed a chunin (baby level ninja) for 4 seasons lmao. Save your money and comeback like around book 7, the mc may just be reaching the second level of cultivation.

Oh, and he's supposedly, randomly, survived 6years under the moon with no advancement? Come on man, we got to do better.

WORSE PROGRESSION YOU'LL EVER LISTEN TOO
