Spark

Narrado por: Samantha Brentmoor, Austin Stone, Connor Crais, John Lane, Sean Masters, Tim Paige

She’s my best friend. And I secretly want her.

Ruby’s my best friend and bandmate. The sister of my good friend, too. Which makes her “triple off-limits” to me. I’d even say she’s like a sister to me, if it weren’t for the unbrotherly dreams I’ve had about her since age sixteen.

But when Ruby drunkenly kisses me at a party to piss off her ex, the spark I’ve been working hard to snuff out for years bursts into a raging pyre. And now, I can’t stop obsessing about that kiss and yearning for another one.

In fact, after The Kiss That Changed Everything, I’m now determined to do whatever it takes to make Ruby mine, even at the risk of burning my whole world down.

Spark is a complete standalone, best friends to lovers, forced proximity, rockstar romance.

So good!

This book can absolutely be enjoyed as a stand alone. It will be even more special if you have read Lauren's other books to have an appreciation of the secondary characters. They are all awesome!

pretty cute 😍

this was pretty cute story. I loved the audiobook. the way you get to listen to the music is so cool.

Such a good one!

Truly loved this. The duet narration. The slow build friends to lovers with appropriate built up and angst. Loved the characters and dialogue. Laughed and smiled through the whole book.

Songs and sparks

Ruby and Kendrick were so cute! I love their friendship! LR did a wonderful job of establishing a great foundation for them to build more. I like that there wasn’t too great a focus on the time they weren’t together but went right into the adventures of getting the girl/guy.
Also, this audiobook incorporated songs from the story and it was great! Love how LR incorporates characters from the interconnected stories in her world.

Love

I love these connections between the river records artists. these are real and entertaining
