Really enjoyed this one. MMC Drummer that is going through rehab and is fighting for custody of his daughter. FMC is his nanny / sobriety coach. This book gives you all the feels. Definitely worth a credit. HEA too!

OMG I'M IN LOVE!!! This book was so beautiful!

MY HEART IS IN LOVE!!!! This was the first book I have listened to by Lauren Rowe and if her other books are anything like this one I will be beyond obsessed! I was hooked from the first page. The narrators Andi Arndt and Sean Masters were chefs kiss! I couldn't have asked for better narrators. They held my attention, kept me entertained and I didn't want them to stop telling this story.

Caleb "C Bomb" Baumgarten is the bad boy drummer for the group Red Card Riot. He's got tattoos and a full beard and everything that makes women want him. But he's not interested in a relationship. He just wants to have a good time and that's why a few years ago when he had a one night stand and found out she was pregnant he knew he couldn't handle that and chose to just pay her child support instead of being there for the kid. He was going through a lot at the time with his sick mom. But in a few years things will change.

Aubrey is a waitress that lives with her best friends and her best friends daughter Raine. One morning she wakes up to find out her best friend hasn't returned home and when she calls to see where she is she learns she's been in an accident and didn't make it. Now trying to figure out how to raise a two year old by herself she decides to go home to her parents for help. When Caleb shows up she thinks he's going to take Raine aways from her but she will do whatever she has to to make sure that doesn't happen.

This is a heartbreaking but beautiful story. I fell in love with all of these characters. Aubrey's family is absolutely amazing and so supportive. I loved the bond Aubrey and Raine have and the bond they all build together. This is a story about love, healing, friendship, family, found family, and trust. You will have moments you will want to get mad, cry, laugh but most of all you will be smiling so much that your cheeks will hurt. I HIGHLY recommend this audiobook.

Hands down, one of Lauren’s best

Whether or not you are familiar with Lauren’s writing and her interconnected music-verse, you will LOVE this audiobook. Beautifully narrated by Sean Masters and Andi Arndt, I know this audio will be one that sits with me for a long time. Lauren Rowe has such passion in her writing and it is admirable. The care and consideration for the characters is obvious with every detail and deeply rooted story. This is yet another gem in an already incredible library.

The bad boy drummer becomes the sweetest single Dad! It’s small town Montana meets rockstars, along with a hero and a villain. I loved it!

A heartwarming & irresistible Rockstar romance

Ya'll, I have totally become a devoted fan of Lauren Rowe. I LOVE her books & audios. Her writing is emotional, witty, angsty & full of all the good stuff. This book is no exception. I absolutely loved Caleb & Aubrey's story.

Lauren really has a gift for combining emotional stories with fun & sexy banter. Dialogue between the characters that makes me want to keep listening. There's laugh-out-loud moments all the way to significant moments where you're clutching at your heart & aching for the characters. I think it's tricky to find a balance between the two & this is one of the things I adore about her writing. Lauren is great at finding that balance.

This is an emotional story NGL, but it is a GREAT ONE! It's the story of Caleb, an extremely talented drummer from the band, Red Card Riot. He's a bit of a "bad boy," and he finds himself in an unexpected situation, learning that he's the father to a two-year old daughter named Raine. Once he learns about her existence, he's determined to be present in her life. He's just gotten out of rehab, needs a sober coach & a nanny to help him. Things don't look too good for him.

He begs Aubrey Capshaw to help him out. Hires her to be his sober coach, nanny & help convince a judge that he should get custody of sweet little Raine. Aubrey has known Raine her whole life, having been a bit of a surrogate aunt to her. After a lot of pleading, Aubrey finally agrees to live with Caleb & help take care of not only HIM but Raine as well.

The story takes you through their ups & downs. Arguments & tender moments that these two share& their united effort in making sure that Raine isn't given over to her abusive grandfather. I always love a great Rockstar romance & Caleb really needed to get his shizz together. I LOVED that what it took for him to finally realize what was important was a GOOD WOMAN & his beautiful daughter. He needed Aubrey so desperately, more than he even realized but he also needed Raine & the sweet little spirit she brought to help him through his sobriety & give him a reason for moving forward.

Lauren does such a great job at writing Caleb's journey through his sober living & the discovery of becoming an unexpected father. The man took charge of every situation with regards to his daughter. I was totally smitten with this broody but thoughtful guy! Aubrey is so spunky & feisty. Just the type of woman Caleb needed to help him through all of this. She wasn't afraid to put him in his place or give suggestions when it came to Raine & Caleb was as doting & thoughtful as they come when it came to these 2 girls.

🎧Let's talk narration: I can't think of a more perfect pick for Caleb than Sean Masters. He's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. He was perfect at executing the broody & possessive demeanor of Caleb. His low, deep voice is honestly a song to my ears. I love it! He's fantastic as the man trying to figure out life, sobriety & fatherhood all at the same time. Now add Andi Arndt to the mix & you've got the perfect blend of bad-boy & sassy FMC. She is fantastic as Aubrey. The woman knows how to get feisty, but she can also rip your heart out with an emotional scene. Her performances are so genuine & authentic. She completely draws you into the story. These two captured these two characters so perfectly. What a spectacular duo! Absolutely recommend this in audio! Everyone should listen to this.
