Slow and drawn out

Not horrible. Just not for me. The plot was weak and so was the character development. This was a long book about nothing, really.

The male voices were perfection.

The male voices were perfection. I almost DNF after an hour due to the female’s voice.

Wow

That was a wild ride. I felt every emotion. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Did not work for me.

This book had interesting characters and should have been interesting, but it was lacking . I had trouble finishing it.

Loved it

Amazing narrators paired with a spicy, while intriguing storyline—made Lilac an easy favorite of mine. Ignore the naysayers.

I have one complaint…

Ok to start out I like this story and the characters, I enjoyed the different narrators and I got more smut than expected which is totally cool…but! After waiting 90% of the book
To figure out why it was called Lilac, the female narrator finally explains the significance of lilacs but pronounces it “lie-lock” and I can’t get past that. I thought she did a fantastic job otherwise and the overall audio book experience was great. If you’re into reverse harems with a happily ever after, a good amount of smut, and some minor bullying, this is for you.

Fantastic Narration

I've already read the paperback version of Lilac and I was extremely excited to hear it in audiobook form. I was not disappointed. Every single narrator did a fantastic job. They all nailed the characters and I could feel the attitudes coming through. I may have fallen a bit in love with Loren and Rich after listening to Teddy and J.F Harding read for them. Also Jillian Macie was great with bringing Braxton to life. This is honestly my second favorite audiobook after The Idea of You by Robinne Lee.

Well Rounded

Great narration 1st of all. Secondly, I think the book had good character development and I appreciate the way the “relationship” between them grew and had some complexity. I liked the personal and sexual dynamics and stem as well. While there was a good amount, I didn’t feel that it was pointless and the same over and over. There is some MM in the last 1/4 or 1/3, but I think it is well done and goes along with a MMMF…It is honestly it is pretty std for these reverse harems so I’m not sure what people who complained about it were expecting. We’ll done, checked all of the boxes for this reverse harem contemporary romance.

I loved everything about this book and I have nothing negative to say, completely recommend this to anyone.

Great story

Loved it. Some of the spicy scenes were not my taste but a great love story nonetheless! I’m a sucker for a happy ending.
