Holy shit!

This is probably one of the best books I've read this year! The story was absolutely PHENOMENAL! The narrators (in my opinion) did an amazing job with the characters!

It has such a perfect balance of angst, plot, tension, heat and mystery to keep you hooked till the end!

So good

This book was so beautifully written. I read it because I was told it would remind me of Still Beating. I love everything J Hartmann writes.

Gripping

Turns that will keep you guessing and invested until the very end. So good. Definitely worth it.

Brilliant

This story sent me through all my emotions. I loved the story. What becomes and act of survival takes two strangers on a journey neither want or wish for. I was pulled in and wanting more from page one.

the ick

I had to listen to this at 2.5 just to calm the cringy ick factor... the writing didn't help. I've given every single Jennifer Hartmann book a 4-5 star rating. This one was just not it for me. I have never DNFed, but I was about to.
Had this not been a buddy read, I think I would have. As it was, it took me weeks to read when I usually devour her books in a day or 2 max. No regrets and had fun reading with friend... but this one is a no for me. Loved the premise, just wish it was written better.
