Explains so much!

While this is a story in and of itself, it explains a huge amount of Jeffery’s life and history. Honestly, I haven’t really liked him as a person up for the first several books of this series - this book changes all that. It explains who, and why, he is. The love story throughout the book is also so vivid, it’s tangible. One of my favorites so far.

Can't get enough of Grant County!!!

I always get swept up in Slaughter's books and the world she created in Grant County. The characters you love, laugh and cry with. I really can't get enough of her books.

Sara and Jeffrey

I love this series and the love between Sara and Jeff it needs to be a Netflix series.

An excellent, on the edge of your seat, listen. I am dreading getting used to a new narrator. Ms Early has done such a phenomenal job…
I’m hesitant to start the next book in the series.

Best Yet

Karin Slaughter is a great storyteller! This is my favorite book in this series...although I still have more to listen to. The twist in her books are always surprising!

The past has come back to haunt Jeffry and Sarah!!

Love this series but this one really stands out . Things in Jeffry's past come after them in Grant county . We finally get to see some of what Jeffery and Sarah's earlydatingnand find out about his past . Love the cutting back and forth between present and the past . Im really invested in this series and this book delivered in spades. Karin Slaughter write such really characters the good the bad and the ugly. Real people wrapped in a mystery and crime .

Two stories in one!

I really enjoyed this Grant County book! While it's only one book, there are two stories that meet up towards the end. Lots of twists and turns!

Another great thriller

This book was awesome. It was suspenseful and provided a lot background to Jeffrey and Sarah's story. I enjoyed it thoroughly and am looking forward to the next book in the series.
