Explains so much!

While this is a story in and of itself, it explains a huge amount of Jeffery’s life and history. Honestly, I haven’t really liked him as a person up for the first several books of this series - this book changes all that. It explains who, and why, he is. The love story throughout the book is also so vivid, it’s tangible. One of my favorites so far.

Can't get enough of Grant County!!!

I always get swept up in Slaughter's books and the world she created in Grant County. The characters you love, laugh and cry with. I really can't get enough of her books.

I love this series and the love between Sara and Jeff it needs to be a Netflix series.

An excellent, on the edge of your seat, listen. I am dreading getting used to a new narrator. Ms Early has done such a phenomenal job…
I’m hesitant to start the next book in the series.
