No spoilers!
Frankie’s best friend Sophie had disappeared in their youth mysteriously. No one has ever uncovered her body or any clues.
When human remains wash ashore the family can finally put it to rest , except Sophie’s brother who calls Frankie out of the blue.
He needs her help to bring closure.
Returning to her childhood hometown.
Frankie feels like everyone is a suspect
afraid that she will ask the wrong question to the wrong person. Very soon she begins receiving threats to scare her away.

Great performance and storyline!
Fantastic voice actors, and a story that kept me on my toes the whole time. I truly couldn’t guess where this one was going until the very very end! I think I have found a new favorite author.

Wow!!
Rarely does a book surprise me with a twist near the ending. I usually have the general idea figured out early. This is one of the best books I have read. I look forward to reading more from Claire Douglas!
