The mystery until it went woke. Pretty impressive until halfway in 😒

Great until it went woke- sad. I was really enjoying the long story until it went abit sideways.

Characters were well developed.

Trouble at first because of the time periods, then I understood the value of switching. The ending was a surprise and that was great. Good read.

Worth A Credit

I enjoyed this book for the most part. Some of the characters were frustrating. I kept wanting to yell "wake up." supposedly smart people that could not figure out anything until it hit them over the head.

It was longer than it should be

It’s a good book but it was much too long. I found it hard to find a character that I really liked very much. Well I did like the grandmother. It was mostly predictable except one thing did surprise me. It’s worth the credit and listening to.

Twisty!

Quite a twist but fully enjoyable! It kept me guessing. A good ending. My next read is Lisa Jackson.

Suspenseful

Lisa Jackson’s books are ones I’ve read/listened to for years. They have all been really amazing. This is no different. Though, I’ve noticed that in her books there is a romance that blooms in every book. This one didn’t really have it so much in the present. It’s not a complaint because I’ve quit reading romance but it was different. This one really kept me on the edge of my seat. I almost forgot how brilliant Lisa Jackson really is. Worth the listen. It was a great storyline. I’m also a fan of the “rear window” aspect of this books. That was a brilliant one by Hitchcock and is one of my favorite old time movies.

so many twist and turns !

of course I pre-ordered this book ! I love lisa jackson and I almost own every single book she has ever written! ( I'm still missing 3 maybe 4 but I'm soooo close ) this one was worth the wait! it is a stand alone book which is not my favorite usually but in this case there was so many twist and turns and detail and characters! I will be starting it over and literally just finished ! a must read ( all lisa jackson books no matter the genre are a must read ) but this is up a level even for ms jackson !

Good mystery but too long.

Too much detail but good twists in story. Lots of deaths for this kind of tale.

Thriller!

I always enjoy her work but this book really ratchets up the suspense and kept me on edge. I strongly encourage everyone to read this book.
