this book rocked!!!

It's a real shame to see this book getting bad reviews,
The writing is solid, and the narration fits the story SO well. I'm a fan of this type of horror. Quite often, though, the writing or narration doesn't allow me to immerse myself in the story due to mistakes and such.
The author avoids many of these common pitfalls by keeping a lot of the specifics of the infection away from the reader. This would usually bother me to a degree, but the author does a great job of approaching this realistically from his characters' perspectives.
ok, enough of this. take my money! I gotta go buy book 2 and 3!

I don't review books often but i have to say that I LOVED this book! The story was easy to follow and have grown attached to the characters. can't wait for book 2!

the women are just as tough as men in this thrilling zombie apocalypse book! absolutely would recommend to fans of the walking dead or mad max...the pandemic storyline seems quite realistic though

A human driven drama.

Hopefully most readers won’t miss the point. The story is not the zombies, it’s the brave people who work together for survival. It’s a tale of what matters, or what should matter to us all. The human insights are visceral and raw. Will they survive or perish. The choices are all up to them. Enjoy! 😊

The female narrator’s accent was really bad.

I think this could have been very enjoyable if the accent the female narrator was trying out for the story wasn’t so over the top.

Not what I expected

I found the story kinda of slow and hard to follow at times and they never said what started the apocalypse. Don’t think I will read book two.
