Space Romp

Fun and interesting adventure with characters I actually cared about. I would love to know what the author's obsession with height in general and how old women look or don't look is about. Why do I need to know their height in inches and centimeters? The virtual voice was really bad on this one. A main character was called RACkle instead of Raquel for the entire book.

Good story, bad reading

the story and Characters were good. However, having the book read by AI was a really bad choice. there was no emotion to the Characters. everything sounded the same from Characters having a normal conversation to the Captain sounding like it was a normal Tuesday when in battle or crew members died. the narrator needs more emotion.

AI narration is terrible.

it's a good story line with great characters the AI narration doesn't do it justice at all. Wish I could've given negative stars for narration not something I'd pay money for but if you have audible plus and can tolerate the poor narration it will atleast provide entertainment. would be much better if narrated by a real person. they wouldn't even need experience and it would be a vast improvement.

Entertaining story w good characters

The AI narrator mispronounced words, even names he said repeatedly he pronounced differently multiple times. It’s clear that nobody listened to them and made corrections. AI also had some cadence and flow issues with modulation of voice and out of place or lack of correct inflection and emotion. The story was great but could have been narrated much better. I’m really surprised they published with those errors.

No AI readers

The AI reader was not great. The incorrect pronunciation of names and words became annoying at times.

Can't finish AI audio unemotional

Can't finish AI audio unemotional. With a story line just barely average a good human reader with good insight into the book can make all the difference. This was just to hard to follow.

Very bad narration by AI

AI narration, very disappointing, no emotion, mispronunciations etc. will probably avoid all AI narration in future.

I don’t like the A.I. narration

Overall it was an entertaining series with a good blend of characters, political ideology, and sci-fi. My biggest complaint was the A.I. narration. Regularly changing the pronunciation of the same names throughout the story was at least distracting and at worst confusing. Also, many times emphasis or emotion was misplaced in the narrative.

AI reading is horrible

I couldn’t get into it due to AI reading. I suggest re doing the audio book right.

AI is horrid

Is the whole story by AI? The story overall is good and entertaining and I would recommend however the AI reading breaks the story often. And I have to question if the entire story wasn’t created by AI or was just poorly translated by AI because the English at times is badly written and can not be explained by an AI reading it.
