Je suis moi-même passé par là. Bien qu'il existe de nombreux livres qui visent à aider les gens à arrêter de fumer, peu d'entre eux ont été créés par des personnes qui savent réellement ce que c'est que d'être fortement dépendant du mode de vie de la cigarette... et c'est vraiment un mode de vie, n'est-ce pas ?
Nous fumons pour être sociables, nous fumons après un bon repas entre amis, nous fumons pour nous détendre et nous fumons même juste pour le plaisir... Que ce soit un choix ou non n'a pas d'importance, nous ne détestons pas tous fumer, nous savons juste à quel point il est incroyablement risqué de continuer à le faire.
Alors, nous mettons le patch et faisons de notre mieux pour résister à la tentation d'allumer la cigarette... quand ça ne marche pas, nous essayons de mâcher du chewing-gum à la nicotine, seulement pour nous brûler la gorge et avoir des haut-le-cœur à cause du goût qui remplace à peine une cigarette... et après que ces choses aient lamentablement échoué, nous devenons des cobayes pour l'hypnose, qui prétendent toutes être des solutions instantanées pour jeter la dernière cigarette, définitivement.
Et pourtant, combien de ces choses fonctionnent réellement?
Nos envies sont plus fortes que la plupart des aides, et malgré ton engagement sérieux à arrêter de fumer, sans un système solide en place, tu continueras probablement à dépenser de l'argent pour essayer tous les nouveaux gadgets qui arrivent sur le marché, seulement pour continuer à la case départ.
Mais cela ne doit pas forcément être le cas...
