Not a real standalone.

The narrators were really good. The story was good as well. The problem that I had with this book was that there are several side plots that don’t get resolved and a lot of them are very important. This book is not a stand alone if more than romance matters to you.

I should’ve read it

It was a good story but I couldn’t get into it because I didn’t like the narrators at all. I think Jo would’ve enjoyed it more if I read it.

The curse

They brought up the omega power three times never came to a conclusion. So never very often ended. There were a couple chapters of Kane that was completely unnecessary. But it was good. 7/10

Love some fated mates

I really loved this story. The push and pull between Brielle and Kane was great. The narrators were excellent. Excited for book 2

Interconnected Standalone-ish

This is the first book in a series of interconnected standalones. There is a happy ending but many unanswered questions remain at the end of the book, which is different from others. I think the rest of the FMC’s and MMC’s story will be told from other’s POVs. I didn’t expect that, seeing as these are still important plot points to the story.

Great story!

Really enjoyed the story! The narrators did a fantastic job. I look forward to hearing the next story in this series.

Good Audiobook

Alpha Male Shifter, under estimated Female Fated Mate. Misunderstood actions, aggressive competition, enemy attacks and deception, loyalty of pack and friends, love and loss. It is all in this book.

Feels Like AI

The writing, and BOTH narrators feel like AI. The cadence of the dialogue is weird. The word choices are more than just quirky - they’re awkward. In the reading, sometimes the affected voices of the characters changes drastically. The narrators are so unbelievable that at one point during a “steamy” interaction I literally laughed out loud at how awkward it was.

I'm Hooked!

The plot and drama surrounding her status, and obstacles to overcome are what stood out to me the most. Their friendship bonds are unmatched and I love how they support one another and compliment their weaknesses with strength versus seeing them as flaws. There is more to see with respect to development of the separate characters and hoping to shed light on some of the storylines that remain open.

Incomplete storyline

I feel like it's an incomplete story line all the part that were really interesting to me were either rushed and put I the end or just underdeveloped
