I really don’t like how casual the author writes - like I’m her best bud in a bar. I find it cringe inducing, “dear reader,” “what on gods green earth does that mean?” I want to do a valley girl impression for you, “like OMG! You can repair your love life tooooooo.” Very little meat on the bones. Lip service paid to causes of attachment types. Glosses over small T trauma. Painfully long intro which seems to try firewall itself from criticism by getting you to commit to following its advice! Because, if you don’t it’s YOUR fault. Not the authors. Good content on this topic is hard to come by. I’d hoped I’d found some. I was wrong.
