mispronounced

narrator keeps mispronouncing sylph as slyph lol. good story though, I prefer warriors instead of mages but it's still good

I love tjis story.

Sam and his family, plus a few friends, justblooking for a safe place to start over. Save a coupke of people, help defend an ice sylph village. explore an ancient relic. and defend the world seal. It is a wild ride. The author does a great job balancing action with charector growth. The narrators do a wonderful job!

Fantastic world building!

This series is amazing so far and just gets better and better, the MCs development has been a fun ride and I can’t wait to see what happens next!!

While he is a crafter and the crafting parts are interesting, the large amount of combat is still just as good.

It’s a good series tho I think book 1 had more heart felt moments with the dad and the parents need to let there kid the MC fly more lol he’s an adult who is stronger than them

Fun

Marked as a demon the MC is working his way across the country looking to set up a new life for him and his family. He finds a spot but finds the area under threat from Outsiders. He investigates and finds its larger than expected. He gets help and grows in power. In the end he finds a place to call home and becomes a legend.

A fun listen/read with a wonderful narrator and voice actors. The world is interesting and expanding. The flow is consistent. I look forward to the next one. Please enjoy

Consider rereading/providing detailed review on 2nd pass?

Some elements of the authors skill I Respect; others I find dreary. But … I *almost never* fell asleep in book #2, so that’s at least improving.

I didn’t know that there was a second book

I fell in love with this book series with the first one, and I was hooked. But the original performer on audible didn’t do this book. But nonetheless, this book was good the performance was good, the story was good. I can’t wait for the third book to come out soon.
