Fun for the whole family!

So, I kinda went ham and read books 1-3 all in a row. This is not normal for me - which tells you something about this high calibur world building adventure all on its own! This review covers Battlefield Reclaimer (1), Aster Fall (2), and Moonlight Relic (3).

Guardian of Aster Fall 1-3 is just crazy amazing. Sam and his father are sucked away and have to battle it out in order to survive. While that's rather normal for LitRPG, it takes a seriously odd turn and becomes a family adventure that reminds you how strong, lasting bonds will always win out. You grow as they grow and haning on the edge of your seat to learn more about their world. How was it created? Why does it seem to be wonky? I have no idea how Sam and his family will save the world, but they'll sure give it a try. It's very 'any age friendly' which I didn't expect for LitRPG. Wonderful job.

To sum this series up thus far…

Fantastic!!!! Magic, world building, character development, action and pure growth and power! This book has quickly become one of my favorite series!! A must listen!

Very entertaining and engaging

The story effectively draws you into the author's world and makes you want see how the characters' lives will continue to unfold. Definitely worth the listen.

It's a great story and the narrators did a wonderful job. Thank you for making the omnibus!

must he look like a monster?!

I'm towards the end of book 3. going into book 4. book 4 will help me decide if I will continue on with this series. I'm not really a fan of turning humans into monsters, especially when they are so young. I understand the concept of the story and it's good. don't get me wrong. it's very good but his overall appearances and people attacking him because of his appearance is increasingly annoying. if there were more races with different appearances where he can easily blend in, that will be different, but he's sticking out like a sore thumb. And author is determined to make him look, act, and sound like a monster. I don't know. we'll see.

Well worth the credit! Unique story line

Rags to power trope with a twist. The story is well written and constructed with minimal loose ends. Narrator does a great job as always. I was going to get the initial book but saw the omnibus version and do not regret my choice!

Great book

It is a really good book. But the female voice actor is absolutely awful. She has no range for her voices and it sounds like she recorded with a phone mic. It also doesnt help with the random noises that they added in. They completely pull you out of the moment. If it wasnt for the male voice actor and the great story I would have probably returned it.
