Probably Should Have Content Warnings...

I really liked the story and REALLY hope there's a second, but be warned if you have religious trauma and/or coming out trauma (there's probably a real name for that) just be warned. There were spots that were both hard to hear (even after more than 15 years) and super relatable, actually pretty much the whole book. Also, one of the narrators sounds like a newscaster and it's pretty distracting. Little dispassionate during super sweet parts. Please write a another, and thanks for the story.

I wasn’t expecting this to be as enjoyable as it was

I have to admit that I didn’t have super high expectations. But I was pleasantly surprised. Was a very sweet funny story

Super sweet and lovely

This book is absolutely wonderful it really shows how rough it can be to be in a religion that doesn’t support how you are and how a toxic relationship can make it harder to fully accept yourself. The way the author goes about it really brings you into Theo’s troubles and his struggles making the reader hang on to the edge of their seat rooting that it will get better for him and that he gets a romantic completion near the end which is what we got. This book gave me so many emotions and am going to recommend this book!

This book is well written with all the emotional rollercoaster twists and turns of being a teenager.

Amazing

This was so amazing I can’t even process how much I love this book as a bisexual and finding this just makes me feel accepted and I just can’t express how much I love this book.

Cute Story

This is a cute and heartfelt coming of age story about two young boys who fall in love.

The conflict with being who you born to be and still staying true to your faith.

Sorry say this, but the voice actor for Caleb almost made me quit listening, but I am glad I finished the book. It was worth my time.

Great Teen Romance

Proud of the handling of Gay youth in a book. Showing a diverse group of kids moving through life. The struggle of a boys life in a world of religious persecution for being who he is was done with an honest feel.

Performance makes it

A very mediocre story but the two narratives are nice. The narrators do a lot of the heavy lifting and brought it up over the story.
