Voracious takes everything from the first book and turns it up ten notches. It’s darker, more twisted, and completely consuming. Leigh Rivers pulls you even deeper into the chaos of Kade and Stacey’s story, where obsession, pain, and a dangerous kind of love collide. This second installment doesn’t just raise the stakes it rips them wide open.

What stood out most to me is how much darker this book felt compared to Insatiable. The emotional intensity is brutal, and the twists hit harder than ever. Kade is spiraling further into his own darkness, yet his connection to Stacey remains the only thing keeping him tethered to something real. Stacey, meanwhile, faces her own hell as her abuser resurfaces, pushing her to fight in ways she never thought possible. The result is raw, messy, and unforgettable.

The cliffhanger at the end? Absolutely INSANE. I was left reeling, and now I’m desperate for the final book in audio.

The Story
Stacey is back under the protection of Kade’s team, but her tormentor Chris refuses to let her go. Caught between survival and submission, Stacey finds herself drawn deeper into a nightmare she can’t escape. At the same time, Kade is battling his own demons his hatred for Stacey, his obsession with her, and the memories of what they once had. Their past still haunts them both, and when the truth finally comes out about that fateful night, everything they thought they knew shatters.

What I Loved
✔️ The even darker, more twisted vibe compared to book one.
✔️ Kade’s unrelenting complexity his obsession, pain, and moments of fragile vulnerability.
✔️ Stacey’s strength as she begins to fight back against her abuser.
✔️ The raw, emotional intensity that makes every chapter impossible to turn away from.
✔️ The cliffhanger ending that left me desperate for the conclusion.

🎧 Narration
Once again, the narration is stellar. The cast breathes life into these broken, complicated characters and makes you feel every ounce of their pain, rage, and longing. It’s not just storytelling it’s an experience. Truly excellent work that elevates the entire book.

Voracious is darker, heavier, and more gut-wrenching than Insatiable. It’s a story that digs into obsession, trauma, and a love that shouldn’t survive but somehow does. The characters are messy, broken, and unforgettable, and the narration makes it all the more powerful.

This series has me hooked in every way. And after that cliffhanger? I’m counting down the days for the final audio.

I need book 3 preorder/release asap! I’m wreaked but here for all of the feels… the performance was amazing!! No notes period. Kade is easily one of my fav morally grey mmc 🩶

I have loved both books so far. They’re both so good. But it’s so frustrating. I want to scream at Kade to just kill The Carters.
I really want to listen to the last book in series but have to wait for audiobook. Wish they’d hurry up and record it. Might breakdown and read it.

This book was even better than the first! 5/5 stars and 5/5 spice. Absolutely excellent. The character development is probably the best I've seen in a shorter series or trilogy. This is in my top 5 of the year so far as of August so that's saying something when I've already listened to 140 books this year. Highly recommend this dark romance but beware of the absolute INSANE cliffhanger!!!! 🧗🏼‍♀️
