The audio was so good! Heather was amazing, and she truly captured all the emotions and the character of Blake. Sean did a great job, but I really wish he made his voice different for the twins. It did get confusing when I forgot which brother was talking, but other than that, it was amazing.

Graves is one of the most unhinged, craziest dark romances that I’ve read…and I was here for it! I found myself laughing at all the antics in this book. The tropes reads like trigger warnings: Stalking, primal play, knife/blood play, breeding kink, somnophilia, overly protective “heroes” that kidnapped the heroine, Dub Con, Non Con. It’s a MFM relationship dynamic with two identical twin brothers who are hitmen. Zayden Graves is a complete psychopath while Dominic Graves had some morals, but not much. They had something horrible happen when they were 9 years old that led them to be rich, tech-savvy killers. Blake had just moved to Washington from Chicago. She had some really bad things that happened to her that she repressed. Zayden saw Blake and he was OBSESSED with her, calling her angel. After a quick stent in prison from murder, Zayden gets out to find that Dominic fell in love with Blake and vice versa. Zayden was none too pleased and played a game to try and keep his angel. Blake ultimately couldn’t choose between the brothers and neither were ultimately going to let her. They all were willing to die and kill for each other. Dramatic, but that was dark, unhinged, and a damn good time! There was a lot of smut in this book, but for the story, it worked as it drove the plot for Blake to have a deeper connection with Zayden and Dominic. Be aware of other trigger warnings: Childhood rape (recounted), parental deaths by murder (witnessed), childhood abuse, a child killing an adult (in the past and recounted), attempted SA on page, torture detailed on page and gruesome murders on page. Graves is dark, so be aware.

Narration was incredible, it felt like a movie. While this book is dark, it made me laugh so many times. The Graves brothers are amazing 🥵
