Publisher's summary

“She smells like flowers - the dangerous ones that bloom in the night and occasionally eat unsuspecting bystanders.”

Scorpio is a retired punk-rock singer and the baddest wedding logistics coordinator in the biz. She has a style. Spiky hair, chains, and unending attitude.

Harlan is the big, tough, tats-and-leather manager of Fettered, Seattle’s best BDSM club. He’s curious what might be under Scorpio’s spikes, and he’s got infallible instincts where subs are concerned.

Or he thought he did.

Until a certain flower eats them in the night.

Hooked on this Series

Loved this book and am so glad I found this series. I love how the author took a hard ass punk rocker and made her tough, yet soft and submissive in a way that suited her personality. The book was great and I could listen to Jeffrey Kafer all day long!

Possibly the best in the series

It's hard to say which of Lilia Moon's books would be my favorite -- they are all so emotionally honest and dense with fabulous characters living in the BDSM life, but this one, with a female punk rocker and the dungeon master is such a gem.

Loved it!

Listening to this book so quickly on the heels of the first book in the series, I initially had a small amount of trouble remembering that the POV characters were Scorpio and Harlan, but got used to it fairly quickly. Scorpio sounded a bit light and girly compared to how she had been portrayed in the initial book, and Harlan sounded like a 40s film noir detective but eventually enough of the characters came out that it wasn't terribly distracting.

The author did a really stellar job of making Scorpio believable as a sub. The way that Scorpio approached those wants and the difficulties that she ran into felt very sincere. She is written as entirely too strong of a character to just roll over and show her soft underbelly, and I appreciate that her interactions with Harlan were still strong, even in the situations in which her underbelly was exposed.

Well worth the read.

Not at all

what I like to hear. Didn't like the characters, didn't care what happened to them. Didn't finish the book.
