Publisher's summary

Some creatures are fatally flawed. I'm a thrill-seeker, a gambler, and a thief—playing whim to my greed. However, my sins aren't what I have to fight right now...it's theirs.

Three men deemed too powerful and wrong to let live by our Council. They're too devious, too strong, too evil. An unhinged crazy incubus, an obsessive shape-shifting beast, and the Dullahan himself—scars, steed, and all.

Tricked, captured, captive. They plan to use my power and wield it as their own. I'm their golden ticket, their pot of gold. Kings, gods, and creatures have tried to use my kind, and these three monsters are exactly the same. They know that when luck is on your side, the odds are never even.

There's an unstoppable hitman on their back, and they need something that gives them the upper hand, a guarantee of success. And that something is me.

Author notes: This is a stand-alone urban fantasy romance with lots of love all around.

This is not for me

I enjoyed RH but this was just too much. The story should be amazing but 90% of the story was just F&$&ing. How many times can a guy/girl have sex in one day? The whole day she does nothing but f one or all of them. Even the guys they f anyone and talking about tricker? I don’t have much but this book kinda makes me sick of some of the things that was mentioned in here. I don’t think I will continue this story. Michelle and Vincent did an excellent job at narrating

Bizarre read

The plot needed to be deeper in this, as it seems sex was too prominent, taking over nearly every chapter. There were sone very odd kinks that were difficult for ne. Plus I did hope a few of the interesting n’unir characters zouké have had more focus.

Pure chaos!

This book got off to an absolutely chaotic start and I was so here for it!

It also put a fun little spin on pooka and leprechauns and mixes supernaturals into the ‘real world’ so between all of that I was sucked in straight away.

🟢 Irish folklore.
🟢 Rare supernaturals.
🟢 Alternating POVs.
🟢 Pure chaos energy.
🟢 A fun, crazy FMC.
🟢 Irish magic.

It quickly gets into the steam and … I felt like it didn’t stop for hours! If you like books that are more spice-driven than plot-driven, with some darker tones and supernaturals, this is the read or listen for you!

Overall: 4 stars.

New to me and loved it

What rock have I been living under?

This is a new author to me and im absolutely regretting not picking this up sooner.

I didn’t know what to expect going into this. I had no idea it was an urban fantasy book until I read the first chapter and it all clicked for me. I cannot tell you how much i enjoyed this book. I love the creativity and originality of the world and characters. I loved the world building and the details that make it unique. The different interpretations of certain things and being. I was enthralled throughout this book, and I want more like it.

Great characters. It took me a bit to connect with the FMC but when I did it made the read even more enjoyable. I love the development between her and the other characters, their dynamic and banter was great. I liked how you could differentiate between them easily and that they all have their own vibe and presence about them that its guarantee you won’t forget about any of them. The narrators did a great job bringing them to life and I could drown in Vincents voice because omg. Both had great voices and were easy to listen to.

I can’t wait to explore more of what Beatrix has to offer because this was amazing.

Enjoyed the craziness in this one!

This was my favorite story from this author so far! I thought this one had the depth and relationship building/tension that I look for, as well as a good/solid storyline to keep me invested. I enjoyed how off the wall some of the characters and situations were hahah. I mean one of the guys is definitely a bit psychotic but then he would be an adorable teddy bear after being an obsessive stalker/almost cannibal haha. Yes I know that sounds odd but it was also refreshing how different these characters were. I loved the headless Irish horseman, even though I skipped over/didnt want to imagine his forms and changing of his body/face because it did creep me out haha. I also was like whaaaaaaat, it detaches and does whaaaaaaat. A little much for me, but its not something I will forget for awhile haha.

I loved the play on a Leprechaun and her extreme amount of luck. I just kept envisioning the lucky girl from DeadPool as things just pass her by in slow-mo, nothing hitting her or things exploding around her or crazy things line up and she gets away unscathed haha. I appreciate how she could be nullified and how some of the other beings could be nullified. That they had a weakness. I was a little confused by some of the pre-existing relationships. It made my head spin trying to keep everything in line in my head as I was listening. That and some other plot holes/delivery made me round down to a 4 star but I still did enjoy it and will check out other books by them (I was on the fence after listening to the one monster trilogy).

I know this is a standalone but with how it ended I feel like there could be another and these guys get some cameo time. I am intrigued by the Council, what will happen with the group being on the most wanted list, and how a certain baddie recovered and how the book ended with him. Won’t say more, don’t want to spoil anything!

In terms of narration I thought they did a good job. I enjoy Michelle’s performances in all I have listened of her before. The male narrator was new to me. I thought they both did a good job embracing the crazy in this book haha. I think the male narrator had the most to deal with and he did a great job with the 3 main guys and how different they were, their accents (loved the Irish lilts for some), and the tension between everyone. Towards the end when the incubus lets go...so good!! The emotion and heat could be felt through my speakers haha.

Unhinged monster romance perfection!

5⭐️ 5🌶️ 5🎧

Beatrix does it again. This book was everything I’ve come to expect and love from a Beatrix Hollow book. Quirky and chaotic characters and some inventive spice. This book has me laughing out loud I loved all of these characters so much. It even made my jaw drop with some of the group scenes, my smut reading poker face failed me.

Lacey is a leprechaun which means she is incredibly lucky. She always wins at poker, lights always turn green, you get the idea. So when the three people at the top of the Council’s most wanted list want to use her for her luck, the chaos is inevitable. Dullahan the headless horseman, Lorchan the incubus, and Puca a shapeshifter on steroids, need Lacey’s luck to prevent the Council’s hitman from killing them. The four of them make a rag tag group of incredibly horny beings that can ember seem to decide if they want to jump each other or maim each other.

I love Lacey. She was balls to the walls insane and had poor Dullahan clutching his proverbial pearls and worrying about sprouting grey hairs. She has no sense of self preservation and the more dangerous something or someone is, the more she is attracted to it. She quickly goes from trying to escape her kïdnäppers to leveraging her luck to satisfy her greed by demanding ownership of a casino. She is the definition of go big or go home.

The best and most frustrating part about the guys is they all wanted the same thing, love and companionship but of course they had to constantly get in their own way.

Puca was shocked to find they might actually like Lacey as a person and not a meal. I really felt for their internal struggle and wanted to hug them or run screaming because I never knew what they was going to do next.

Lorcan was another guy in need of a hug because he really struggled with his incubus nature as well as his attraction to the others because he was afraid of hurting them.

Poor Daddy Dullahan had his hands full with this motley crew. It’s no wonder he took to drinking. I loved him the most for the calm acceptance he provided, as well as his giant pierced 🍆.

I absolutely loved the narrators for this book! Vincent Skye had an amazing Irish accent for Dullahan and I loved his subtle Irish accent for Puca. I feel like most of the time when you find a narrator who is able to do distinct voices for multiple characters, one or maybe two will be amazing and the rest will just be ok. That was absolutely not the case here. Michelle Price was wonderful as Lacey. I could listen to these two narrate all day!

Spicy and dark supernatural reverse harem

This is one spicy book! Wow! There are some very hot and creative scenes. There are more MM scenes than there are MF scenes and a few MFM scenes. Lacey has a whole menagerie of supernatural beings. Lacey herself, is the luckiest leprechaun around, who also loves jewelry. Lacey is a compulsive gambler and car racer who never lost until she met 3 strangers. They are Dullahan, the headless horseman, Lorcan, an incubus, and Puca, a shapeshifter. These men take sexual gratification to a whole new level! Just think what a headless being can do to himself and others! This book is high on smut, there are horns and tails, body piercings, and size differences. These men are definitely monsters. Just know what your getting into reading this book so you won't be surprised. This may not be everyone's desired reading content. One of these guys is very Silence of the Lambs, wanting to wear Lacey as a skin suit.

Original and Steamy!

Flawed Cretures is dark, steamy, and entertaining. The story is complex, and enthralling. The characters are well developed, and enigmatic. I liked the banter. The tension is sizzling hot. The world building is original. This is an interesting Monsters RH Romance. Michelle Price and Vincent Skye did an excellent job bringing this story to life. #PFPAudio
