I’ve never before read a romance novel written by a male author. I didn’t know such a thing existed! I was very happy to discover Scott Hildreth. It was quite intriguing to experience a MMC written from a male perspective.

Baker’s interactions with his fellow MC besties were super fun and entertaining. I definitely laughed out loud in a few places because the characters were bickering with each other exactly like my brothers do. Listening to Baker’s inner thoughts about his love interest was also fun and sexy. The author did an equally amazing job writing the female characters.

Both narrators did a great job. They are clearly talented, and they brought the story to life.

This was a Plus Catalog entry, but I would readily spend a credit on it! I’ll definitely be seeking more audiobooks by this author. Highly recommend!

Loved that it was written by a male author in this genre. I was absorb by the writing and the parts that I heard I could tell it was a man’s point of view. My first from this author.The male narrator was awesome in this story and the female was so chill. Five stars ⭐️ in my opinion.

I will definitely be saving this one in my favorites to read again and again. It was soooooo good and sweet and funny with ZERO angst.

The voices and cadence didn't fit well with the images of the characters portrayed. I previously read the book, which I loved, and was looking forward to the audio version unfortunately I wasn't able to listen to the complete audio.

I forced myself to finish this book. There were things I liked about it, like the day to day details of each characters life, many books leave that out. But Andy’s character had me saying “that’s not what a girl would say”. I did feel like there were two unresolved issues that didn’t even come up in the epilogue.

I enjoyed the story and the banter between the main characters. This is very fast paced, almost a little too much as I think some things got overlooked.

The female narrator was pretty good. The male narrator did not match the male character at all and it affected my experience and enjoyment of the book.

I liked the characters, they were pretty good. The story was weird at times and sometimes didn't make sense to me, but it was entertaining.
I didn't like the male narrator, while the female one was amazing.
