Troy Duran and Vanessa Edwin are excellent narrators and Troy is absolutely perfect for grumpy sheriff Brady. Wow. Loved every second of this audiobook. I read the book last year. Thrilled to get the advanced copy of this audiobook for review. Definitely 5 stars.

Freaking AMAZING

I read this book before the audio and the story alone is amazing. It is funny and hot. The character development is amazing! No Third-act breakup!

The narration for this book is FANTASTIC. This was done so much better than I could have imagined for this story. I loved it so so so much!

Mind blowing performance

Oh my word!
Vanessa and Troy totally blew my mind with this performance! It was perfect and everything I needed for the audio of this book! They both captured the character’s personalities so perfectly and the performance itself absolutely blew my mind.

Vanessa captured Luna’s quirky personality so well and had me doubled over in laughter more times then I can count!

Troy did such a phenomenal job not only with Brady’s grumpy personality but also with his dominant and protective side.

I also loved the way they both brought the crazy side characters and family to life. This will definitely be a book I re-listen to!

My favorite way to listen to narration!

I absolutely loved this book. I listened to the audiobook as an ARC and it was done in the BEST possible way. The female reader (Vanessa Edwin) and the male reader (Troy Duran) read as a team instead of a chapter at a time. I was soon engrossed in the book with these narrators showing their characters’ spunky personalities Brady, the strong silent sherif and Luna, the outspoken treehugger couldn’t be more opposite and yet they were absolutely made for each other.

Absolutely PERFECTION! Brilliant story with seamless and flawless narration!

This is what all audiobooks should strive to be!! Not only was the story and characters superb, but the narration was perfect!

I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers book. This one was excellent!!! Not only were they on opposite sides of an important issue that would impact his whole family, but Brady and Luna were so different from each other that they could have been from different planets!
On paper, they make no sense. But in reality…the sexual chemistry between them was explosive!!!
I loved Luna, especially the fact that she loved herself and didn’t want to be with someone who would want her to change or be less that who she was. Her parent were just a bit too quirky for me, especially with how she grew up.
I don’t really know what i can say to convey how much I adored Brady! And the things he said to Luna…hot enough to melt your Kindle and maybe a few other things!!!
Troy Duran and Vanessa Edwin were incredible! They not only brought the characters to life, they did it flawlessly! One of my biggest pet peeves is hearing what is a deep, sexy voice trying to sound feminine as another character. It’s not only cringey, but it completely throws off the whole experience. But not with this audiobook! Troy Duran voiced all the male characters every single time and Vanessa Edwin all the females. It was seamless and flawless.This truly was an absolute pleasure to listen to!

Loved this story

I am so glad I came across this book. I can’t wait to read the next in the series. As for the narrations how can you go wrong with those two. I think I can listen to Troy’s voice forever.

An enjoyable story

Oh my word, this was such a quirky funny good read. Luna was such a loon, lol… Brady was a lovable grump 😊

Brady was such a cool character. He took his job serious; he had no time for relationships or anything. Between his family and work that was it. But when Luna got into Town, he couldn’t believe his attraction to this out their woman. He couldn’t explain it to himself. He was someone who liked control and a sense of discipline, but she made everything out of control, worse he couldn’t control her or his feelings for her.

I love small town romances, I loved that you get to know not just the characters, but so many other quirky, weird, funny, serious characters as well. Luna took life as it comes, Brady liked things organized, she was more spiritual with her yoga and save the planet lifestyle. He was protector and peacekeeper and follow the rules. Loved that they complimented each other. Total opposites but so right for each other 😊This audio was awesome; I love a good Troy Duran and Vanessa Edwin narration. And they were spot on for this story. Love that deep voice of Troy’s and Vanessa suited Luna perfectly. Can’t wait for more of Starlight Cove 😊

Such a good story!

This is my first audio by Brighton Walsh and it definitely won’t be my last. Story was a small town, opposites attract, enemies to lovers….and the narration was pure perfection! Troy Duran and Vanessa Edwin are some of my favorites but they really made this story come to life. Brady and Luna are such polar opposites but come together perfectly and the banter is top tier. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a heartwarming, fun, keep you laughing story.

Opposite do attract

Loved the banter between Luna and Brady and even though they were so different, they found love. The narrators were awesome.

Funny, romantic & I need more audio by this author

So this is the kind of movie I would choose to screen that evening 😍

This is a super funny and stunning romantic comedy, I listened to it on my shift and didn't stop smiling and laughing to myself - it definitely made my day so much better 😍

And of course how is a romantic comedy possible without it taking place in a small town? 😍
Luna Lancaster arrives at Starlight Cove to be the death of Sheriff Brady McKenzie (who doesn't like it in the books!? 😂), and the sheriff finds himself looking for creative solutions to get her to stop tying herself to a tree every day 😂😂😂

But Luna is not a fool, she makes a deal with him - and what is the best way to sign a deal? With a kiss 💋
And there were fireworks and butterflies all over, and not just for the heroes 🦋🦋🦋

And from there everything turns out and unfolds just like in a perfect chick-flick movie 😍

Completely opposite opposites, burning chemistry, a h who doesn't see eye to eye, a particularly grumpy H, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, minor characters who just added to the plot, I could go on like this all day but I'll give you the pleasure of reading and enjoying it ❤️
