*Audio - the narrators were excellent. aiden’s voice was perfectly gruff & sexy. brit’s was sunshine but the narrator did a great job with her range of emotions. definitely recommend the audio.

this was so cute. hot cop, teen crush to lovers, single dad all set in a quirky town with some suspense. so fun. i enjoyed every second of it. aiden & his son are so precious & the way brit just falls into their lives was perfect. a little office romance blooms into a forever kind of love. my favorite. the story was really engaging & the spice was 🥵🥵. i can’t wait for book two in this series!

Loved the Intrigue, Humor, Heart, and Heat!

What a great start to Louise's all new 'Be Still' series! I was totally captivated by this magical steamy romance with a touch of mystery. Sheriff Aiden Stone is a sexy single dad who's dreams died after discovering the betrayal of his deceased wife. When a crime spree hits his small town, he reluctantly hires Britt Bailey, to help find who is behind it. His family has held a grudge against her family for generations. He doesn't want to like her, but she is great at her job, stands up for herself, and has a sassy mouth he can't stop thinking about. Britt is trying to distance herself from her families eccentric ways. She loves being back home with her friends, and her new job working with the man she has had a crush on since her teens. As they spend time together, learning who they really are, the sparks begin to ignite and they are fire together. Aiden begins to see a future with Britt and his son. But as the case becomes deadly, and Britt's family seems to have a connection, will Aiden be able to trust Britt, or will secrets and betrayal break both their hearts? I fell so fast and hard, and became so invested in these wonderfully flawed characters, and their story hooked me right from the start! I loved watching Aiden and Britt's relationship grow and get stronger. They fit so well together, making a beautiful little family, and their chemistry was palpable. I also loved all their family and friends who were so funny, caring, and supportive.
Troy Duran, and Samantha Brentmoor's narration made this story and these characters come to life so beautifully. Duran's smooth, deep voice, and perfect inflections made Aiden come alive and made me swoon! Brentmoor's gripping delivery compelled me to feel everything these characters think and experience. They completely pulled me in to this world and I felt like I was right there with Aiden, Britt, and all their family and friends.
This is a completely addicting story that has the perfect balance of intrigue, humor, heart, and heat!

This couple overcame so much such a fun story to listen to and enjoy. Would recommend this series for sure to anyone!

Very cute

Great love story. Love the characters storyline was great lots of twist in terms narrator did a wonderful job. Loved how the two ended up together in the end was not boring overall great story.

Be Still Series

A Little Taste ( BE Still Series #1) is a town, grumpy single-dad romance with a touch of light suspense and lots of tasty spice.

Just want you to want in a small town romance with a bit of mystery. The storyline is interesting, and the characters are likable. Owen is an adorable kid who will steal your heart.

Troy Duran is a favourite narrator of mine and did a great performance. Samantha Brentmoore is a talented narrator and she did a well played performance.

Good plot and narrators bring the story to reality.

A Little Taste is a fantastic love story mixed with mystery, suspense an adorable seven year old and a dog with a nose that sniffs crime. The story has a lot of unexpected twists that make the book so interesting. The story has me involved all day long, I couldn’t stop reading/listening because I couldn’t wait to see what’s next. These characters are fun, interesting and loving. A little delivers a big story.

A Lot of Heat and Heart!

Having the perfect voices for a book in my ear can truly make a story come to life. And Samantha Brentmoor and Troy Duran certainly fit that bill, bringing Britt and Aiden’s characters and connection along for a gloriously steamy ride in A Little Taste by Tia Louise.

A Little Taste is a great little small-town romp with a healthy level of heat & humor that provides more than ample opportunity for you to sit in your feels as well. Mixed in with the underlying tone of suspense and mystery is adorable small town family life, quirky characters, and of course a little bit of angst to satisfy readers as well. But the characters truly make this story, weaving a wonderful web of friendships, family bonds, and unique connections that drive the drama and the tension, infusing Britt and Aiden’s relationship with love, longing, and lessons. The supporting cast of characters Louise builds around them enhances the main characters’ personalities, showcasing their strengths and vulnerabilities, while also laying some fantastic foundations for future relationships as well.

A Little Taste is a truly delightful series starter that left me both completely satisfied (with Britt and Aiden’s HEA) and wanting more (time in Eureka). I cannot wait to see who gets their HEA next.

Wonderful story & narration

This was my first book by author Tia Louise and I really enjoyed the characters and the story. Troy Duran and Samantha Brentmoor were great narrating this audiobook and brought everything to life for me. Aiden and Brit had good chemistry and I really liked them together and their interactions with Aiden’s son Owen.

Sizzling!

This narrating duo absolutely sizzled with their performances of Britt and Aiden. They are both strong narrators and bring so much life to the characters they portray. With a story like this, they are electrifying.


This has all the fun, all the great banter, and all the spice!

Britt and Aiden were fire together! I had so much fun watching them fall in love. While this is full of explosive chemistry and laugh out loud moments, this couple had some real issues to overcome both separately and as a couple. The angst was relatively low up until that point but when things took a turn, my heart shattered. This book really hit me in all the feels and it’s been a long time since that’s happened.

Along with all the falling in love, there was a mystery that started out relatively light but was layered on top of other lightweight crimes. However, that soon changed and Britt and Aiden were faced with real danger. I tried to figure out who the who-done-it was but failed with each guess. And holy heck, I bit my nails completely off before I reached the conclusion.

As if the romance and mystery weren’t enough, this story is laced with quirky characters that I loved and I want soooo much more of them! Thankfully, this is the first in a series of standalones that will be set in this small town.
