Story was good buuuut

The narrators left a lot to be desired. The female narrator has extremely flat delivery and the male narrator is far too old sounding for his character. Both were rather off-putting for different reasons.

The story itself was good. Not as good as some of her others but I would say 3.5-4 out of 5 for story. I may revise the score once I have a physical read-through.

Love it, great story line.

The story is suspenseful and engaging. The read transforms you to feel you are in the story.

Light fast easy read

Not a lot of depth or story/character development but fun and easy to read on a day off.
The one thing that I loved about the book was that they actually use a vibrator!

Great story, but not the right narrator

I love Tessa’s books, she never misses. But the audio really took me out of the story. The male narrator is just not the right voice for Myles. He sounds too old and a bit creepy, like a smokier version of Danny DeVito.

Fun and sexy but weird narrator choice

I really enjoy this listen and it is some spectacularly smoldering sex scenes, but the guy narrator did take me out of it a bit. There is no way that is the voice of a 34 year old man. He sounded more like someone’s 50yo Dad who smokes cigars, not a sexy, youngish bounty hunter. I think it was even more off putting because the female narrator was perfect, they should have just had her do the whole thing. He’s a good narrator, just not for this.

So funny! Tessa can do no wrong.

I almost didn't get because people complained about the male narrator. I didn't love his voice but I wasn't so turned off by it that I couldn't enjoy the story. He has a very gravely voice which is probably why he was chosen. The story however, in usual Tessa Bailey style, is laugh out loud funny, spicy, and sweet. The premise of a bounty hunter and school teacher trying to solve a murder is definitely not one I've come across in other romance novels. I loved this story, I thought it was narrorated well. I highly recommend.

Hot romance with a little mystery

This one was spicy y’all! I always love a good Tessa Bailey hero because when they fall, they fall hard.

Male narrator is terrible!

Seriously just read the book, the male narrator was cast so poorly. Ruined the book for me.

This is was so much fun! I absolutely loved this story! 100% recommend! If you haven’t read you should!

The story line seemed great. But I couldn’t make it past the male narrators voice. He was far too old and nasally sounding for the age he was supposed to be. If I was reading instead of listening, I’d finish it. But as of right now, I will not
