Loved Addison & Chase!

I've loved Addison's little dictator ways and take-charge attitude, managing her brothers in the previous four books, so seeing Chase get under her skin or just be there for her with his little gestures and plans made my heart melt.

Stella Hunter perfectly portrayed Addison's tough, boss-lady energy and her rarely-shown vulnerability. J. F. Harding gave all of Chase's dedication to Addison and steadfast determination to get his girl. A better casting for these characters does not exist!

I'm so excited to see what Brighton has in store for Levi in his book. With the closeness of the MacKenzie’s, and the quirky little town of Starlight Cove and it’s residents, this series has quickly become a favorite!

Ok the narrators definitely bring this book to life. I loved their narration so much.

You guys first off if you have not been reading the Starlight Cove series what in the world have you been reading because you are freaking missing out my friend like big time. This is the fifth book in the series and they keep getting better and better. This one is all Chase and Addison and I could not have been more excited to read it. Absolutely freaking loved Chase’s dirty-talking I mean talk about scorching hot. Oh and to make it even better with the dirty talking try the audiobook it is amazing to listen to the narrator it just makes it so much better. The chemistry between them two is extremely hot it will burn your kindle. Definitely one to add to your list of books you really don’t want to pass this one or this series up. Eager to get my hands on Levi’s book!

Read and Listened to this book!

This is the first series I've read by Brighton Walsh. She is an amazing writer! I was completely invested in the storyline and characters. Second chance, small town, best friend's brother are all favorite tropes of mine. I didn't want to put the book down! Chase and Addison had huge hurdles to over come. My heart squeezed for Addison and the responsibilities she took on. Her heart is so big for her family. And Chase was so patient. They are so perfect for each other. Seeing characters from book to book adds to the fans investment of Starlight Cove. I can't get enough of this world.

Then I listened to the audiobook! Talk about perfection! J.F. Harding and Stella Hunter are excellent narrators. They brought this book to life in a way I was unable to. It rolled like a movie in my head. Love their voices.

I Love Addison and Chase! 💙💜 A second chance, best friend's little sister story that is definitely worth the read!! You will love and hate Addison and Chase! The miscommunication between this is maddening! I am so glad they finally got their HEA!! This book is read as a Duet and I really like that! The performances are real and I feel like I know the characters even more! This is book 5 in the series and I highly recommend it!

AUDIO review: I thought I was swooning when I read this book! But sheesh! This DUET narrated audiobook is everything. JF Harding is exquisite as Chase. Each smirking line and possessive moment is delivered with pitch-perfect inflection. But Chase’s intense, whispered moments are the audiobook’s chef’s kiss. Harding is a new-to-me narrator and now, a new favorite. Every breath he took had me leaning in, completely ignoring my actual responsibilities, so I could listen a little longer. Stella Hunter as Addie is feisty and strong. Her best moments though are when we get to hear Addison’s steely exterior melt away leaving us to experience the tender, unguarded heart she shares with Chase. A five-star listen! I devoured every delicious moment.

BOOK REVIEW: Chase Lockhart is heart-melting and blush-inducing! I loved this book. It’s a best-friend’s little sister, secret love affair, forced proximity gem with a side of soul-mates and every moment was perfection! From Chase’s first chapter, he establishes himself as an alpha hero who only has eyes for one woman and she happens to be Addison, the quick-witted, sharp-edged, fire-cracking little sister of the McKenzie men. Chase and Addie have been having secret rendezvous since high-school but she’s his best friend’s little sister and firmly, off-limits. Plus, Chase has been busy in the NHL. But now, Chase is back and he’s determined to make Addie his, for good.

There’s so much to say about this book. First, I love a strong heroine who takes no prisoners and is aware of her abilities and not afraid to be in charge. Second, my kryptonite is a swoony, athletic, beast of a man who’s fully committed to his person and her happy endings (*ahem*) and Chase is all of the above. Finally, I love a well thought out nickname and Firefly is so perfectly Addie (bright and feisty). Brighton Walsh is officially the queen of dirty talk. Her love scenes are both hot (seriously, pant-inducing) and full of heart. I found myself smiling, laughing out loud and occasionally blushing as I read this book. Chase has some EPIC lines and don’t even get me started on his tattoos! I 100% recommend this book. Can I give it 6 stars?? Just trust me, read it! I promise, it’s worth it. (4 peppers, 5 stars)

Brother’s best friend

Addison and Chase have been secretly hooking up for the past ten years. But one day, he just stops responding to her and cuts her off completely. She thinks it was just sex. And Chase? Well, the man was a goner for Addison.

Ah, these two were so good together. Addison was tough on the outside but such a softy on the inside. Chase was a golden retriever. He was so sweet and caring, but also protective and very obsessed. I may have felt butterflies when he told Addison how he felt. I mean, once he fell all those years ago, there was no going back.

I loved seeing these two actually get to talk and realize how each other felt. Chase was so patient with Addison. And Addison managed to stand up for herself and open up to Chase.

This was a great addition to the series, and I cannot wait for the next book.

I’m a fan of both narrators, so I was excited to listen to this, and I was not disappointed. The story was great, but the narration was amazing! Both of them did a great job bringing the story and characters to life. And I’ll just say that some scenes sound better in audio.

I absolutely loved getting Addison’s story, she is such a spunky character, and being the only girl with 5 brothers, you know her story was going to be good.
I absolutely love how swoony Chase is, he is so gone for Addison, and it shows in everything he does, and how he talks to her, treats her and acts around her.
She’s got a bit more to work through, but they are so explosive together, their chemistry is off the charts and when she finally gets out of her own way, they are absolutely perfect together.

Ready for a boatload of angst? It’s worth it!

I can’t say how much I love an audiobook with dual narration. JF Harding and Stella Hunter are amazing! Chase is a hockey player recovering from an injury. Addison is ‘his’ but she doesn’t know it. He was her first and is determined to be her last. Addison is so stubborn and she creates a lot of angst throughout the majority of the book. Funny how stuck in a snow storm with forces proximity helps move things along! You’ll love this next installment in the Starlight Cove series.

Loved Addison and Chase!

Oh my, Firefly! Possessive Heart by Brighton Walsh was a sassy, steamy small-town romance that had me blushing and swooning from start to finish. I had been anticipating Addison’s romance from the start of the Starlight Cove series, so she was worth the wait. Chase was the perfect match for her, and I loved every step of their journey to get to their long-overdue HEA.

Stella Hunter and JF Harding perform this audiobook in duet-style narration, and the duo was the perfect casting for Addison and Chase. Stella’s upbeat flirty tone gave Addison just the right amount of spitfire, grump, and passion as she attempted to resist Chase, but ultimately gave into her desires. JF’s warm raspy timbre portrayed Chase’s persistent, loyal, and dirty-talking nature brilliantly as he never gave up on the long-lasting love he held for Addison. The forbidden, secret sexual chemistry between these two was HOT, and both narrators brought the heat.

Overall, LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a small-town romance with a fiercely passionate Tiny Tornado, a hot devoted pro hockey hunk, a brother’s best friend, forced proximity, snow storms, secret spicy past, dedicated brothers, mutual masturbation, Zamboni chats, super hot steamy times, endorsement deals, misunderstandings, making Starlight Cove your home, and a HEA that will possess your heart, then you will love Addison and Chase’s story. I’m looking forward to more from Brighton Walsh.
