Can’t put this book down.
Anything Karen Kingsbury writes is always suspenseful and difficult to separate you from the book. In other words, I’ve never experienced any other her books where I can put them down to live my life or even sleep for that matter. She just has a way of holding you captive.

it's worth the slow start!
When I started the first few chapters. I was very bored and disappointed. It felt as though the entire book would be read to me by the narrator. I have bought those type of books in the past not knowing someone was reading the entire story. The first couple of chapters were predominantly the narrator reading the story. I decided to stick with it . I am happy I decided to give this book a chance. This story is for everyone that doubt their first instincts or more importantly the voice of God ...I highly recommend this book. This was a true story. My prayers are with the victims. Great Story!!! Clean Reading!!! Great Performance.

Monotone Performance/Unusual Content for the Author
I was disappointed by the monotone quality of the voice of the individual who read the book. It almost caused me to stop listening from the start. I also was confused by the genre of story for this author. I guess this was an older work of hers and nothing like her faith based writing she currently does. The story was interesting once I was able to get past those two things.
