Publisher's summary

They celebrated their love with a dance. But will it end in divorce?

John and Abby Reynolds were the perfect couple, sharing a love born of childhood friendship and deep family ties. They are envied by their friends, cherished by their children, admired by their peers. But John and Abbey are about to lose it all. On the verge of having an affair, John is no more the man Abby married than she is the long-ago girl of his dreams. They are strangers whose days of dancing seem gone forever.

They gather their three children to announce their plans, but before they can speak, their daughter makes an announcement of her own; she's getting married in the summer.

Abby and John determine not to ruin their daughter's season of happiness, but as the wedding nears they are haunted by questions. Is the decision they've made irreversible? Are there times when marriage - even the marriage between two people of faith - is truly beyond repair? And is it possible, alone in the moonlight on an old wooden pier, to once more find...a time to dance?

Discover the resiliency of boundless love, the power of commitment, and the amazing faithfulness of God in A Time to Dance.

Very Spiritual

We need more reminders about how to hold true to our faith and promises we make to one another.

Story was great, however the narrator fell flat.

I really enjoyed the story, it gave such a good example of how easily a marriage can fall into a cavern, but gives such hope as to how it can be restored. It also shows that prayers work.
The narrator could have used some help in sounding more like the characters , and and put some more intrest in her reading so that she would sound more professional.

Love this book!

This book was well written and kept my attention. At times I couldn’t put it down. In addition it was a great reminder to nurture my marriage. Reading this book changed my heart in a good way, softened it and gave me a new prospective in aspects of my own life. I love to read for entertainment but I love even more to read books that actually touch your very soul.

It's pretty cheesy, but a good story.

This was my first book from this author. I enjoyed the story. It was an easy story to hear. it was pretty cheesy though. I'd try another Karen Kingsbury story though. The author's note at the end was my favorite. Her heart shows through it.

Disappointed

I have read many Karen Kingsbury books and listened to a few on Audible. This book was predictable and depressing. The narrator had a very whiney voice, which made the book hard to listen to.

Very repetitive

Struggled to finish because so repetitive. Many good principles about marriage but don't need to hear over and over and over again.
